My senior chihuahua is 8.8lbs and I ordered the medium. It fits great and the shirts look so cute paired with his overalls.

I bought the size small, going by measurements, for my little yorkie - it is a bit too large - she easily gets one foot out. Hoping they will shrink just a bit when washed. They are a well-made shirt. Going by their measurements, an Xsmall would have been too tight :-\ NOTE; So I washed one shirt on warm then put it. in dryer on warm it DID shrink Just enough that my little yorkie can wear it without one arm slipping from the armhole. The neck on these shirts Is a little large for this dog, but she can wear them after this little bit of shrinkage (neck hole did not shrink).

I purchased these shirt sets size medium and I love it. For reference my pup to date is almost 17 weeks old and the shirt fits him perfectly. I get compliments from everyone who meets him even all the girls at his vet office. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Our miniature poodles got really short haircuts this time, so they needed shirts to keep them warm in the a c until their hair grows out a bit, and all their winter sweaters were a bit too warm for springtime.When I first opened this package and saw these shirts, I thought, No way, they will be too small.Well, the fit is nothing short of perfection. The material is thin, soft and flexible, just what I wanted for them! And the underside is cut just right for male dogs to be able to go out and pee. Yay!I wash them in cold water and hang dry.

Good fit

Soft, all-cotton, comfortable and very attractive. My pup doesn't want to take these off and we get tons of compliments at the dog park. Bought the tank tops as well and glad I spent the little bit of extra money because the fit and feel are just so nice. They wash well too (normal wash and dry settings) with no shrinkage or discolouration.

These are great coats. I ordered sets for three different sized dogs (family/Christmas) and was glad that I ordered them larger than recommended. In all cases they fit comfortably.
