American Valve M71HD 3/4" Hose Bibb, 3/4 Inch

I did notice that like other reviewer's have said in a couple of months, water flow was erratic. It took 2 turns for water to come on. I knew what the problem was washer was loose but being lazy I let it go so one day water wouldn't shut off. I tore it apart screw was broken off. I purchased 2 new ones and decided to check the screw and washer before install took valve apart no screw head for washer. I don't know if you can replace washer or not does it pry off and on ????

I have used this faucet for a many months now. It's still going strong. Money well spent in my opinion.

Installed easily and works well, but needs to be turned several more times than my previous faucet in order to get the same water flow.

Valve is restricted, so it flows slowly. If you want high flow, this is not your valve. Build is good otherwise.

I ordered this American Valve M71HD hose bibb to replace this cheaper hose bibb:  B and K Industries 103-003 1/2-Inch MIP Inlet Brass Standard Threaded Hose Bibb . Compared side by side, you can tell the big difference in build quality and weight. This American Valve hose bibb is far superior. The B and K hose bibbs are about half the cost but the two I ordered lasted only one month each with minimal use before they failed and leaked from the base of the knob. You get what you pay for I guess. At under $10, this is still an inexpensive item so I wouldn't skimp on something that could cost you more money in the long run through water leaks.

This faucet is heavy duty. Very sturdy. Easy to install. I didn't have to use teflon tape but would of if I had had it, but the faucet fit so snug.I got away with NOT using it! Lucky me. Quality product comes in (3/4") also

Great product

Had hard time finding this size in the hardware store. The material is solid and it fit perfectly and secure in the water catcher I build from a hard plastic barrel.

I am impressed with the manufacturing and seat quality of these valves, under 70psi they flow at minimal cv loss. Not sure where to find new packings though, hope they're standard generic replacements.

Good quality for its price. We used it for our rain barrel.

This valve is the perfect size for the water feature I created. Excellent.
