Good not that powerful but good enough, it would been a good idea if they had like a filter to prevent dirt from reaching the laptop

I needed a cheap air cooling solution for a homelab virtualization platform utilizing four old laptops in a proxmox cluster. This setup is working quite well. Even under load these systems are running under 40*C. Im super happy that these were cheaply available and delivered same day! So long as the fans don’t give out this should do just fine for my use case. They are made of plastic that does not seem very sturdy. I believe the other reviews of them breaking are truthful, so just take it easy with these and you should be fine. Cheers!

Like some of you looking for a way to cool your router this fits my ASUS AX-98x router perfectly. I have 60-70 devices on my router with 2 mesh nodes picking up half of those wifi clients. The router has it's own small fan but it's smack in the middle of the router puling air from the bottom and diffused to the outer top, not directly out which traps the heat. I guess I could cut out the top of the case to improve air flow but I'd rather put it on a laptop cooler. It puts the router "on display" at an angle.The bottom is very warm to the touch and the top is warm as well. This should bring down the temps a little. After 10 minutes I felt the top and bottom and they were very cool. I'm not running Open-WRT on my ASUS router so I can't see temps. It also saves a little space with it elevated on an angle since the router is very wide and takes up a lot more space than the average router. It has to be elevated because if it's laying flat, the fans would be flush against the bottom and won't move air. If you wanted it flat you'd have to put some spacers to allow the fans to get air intake.As for the air output it's pretty weak. It's enough to push air to a router or laptop. I would say it's "better than nothing". I like that you can adjust the speed of the fans. At low speed it's pretty quiet. At higher speeds it's a little noticeable. It's a little louder than the fan on the router. I wish I could turn off the LED fan lights. They get brighter the faster you set them.For a laptop I expect it to reduce temps on a regular laptop and not a gaming laptop with a 30 or 40 series Nvidia GPU. It's providing fresh cool air under your laptop so your laptop fan doesn't have to work as hard and those laptop fans can get loud. It should also keep the bottom of your laptop cool when you take it off to put it on the top of your lap.I also like that it has an extra USB port as it would take up precious USB ports on a laptop but keep in mind that it's USB 2.0 so I wouldn't plug in any USB 3.0 peripherials like high speed scanners, hard-drives, etc... It has 2 USB ports but you are powering the fans with one of them via the included USB 2.0 A to A cable.

The Laptop cooling pad works good in keeping my glass desk top from becoming hot. The adjustable pad lifts the computer in 3 different upward position which provides ease of use and is comfortable when typing. Great price too.

Purchased it for of course the over heating laptop. But after a couple of months the stand broke, slightly weak. The rest worked pretty good, then the cable and usb inserted started to fail. I didn’t mind. After it was just a laptop pad as the fans stopped working all together. Today it will be thrown out. It worked for a good while. But i guess it’s my fault for not taking care of it. It’s great if you take care of it and good for the price.During my use, the temperature was good for the laptop, not a single noise was made and simple to use. Nice appearance, barely noticeable and cool additional lighting.All n all okay.

*** UPDATE: This isn't very durable. After maybe 7-8 months of heavy use, this item stopped working completely. The lights still work so I didn't notice at first but then I noticed my laptop going back to heating more than usual again, so it could have stopped working sooner but I didn't notice. Not worth the price at all unless this lasts for at least 1 year or more. ***I was always skeptical about buying a cooling pad with all the mixed reviews. I finally decided to buy a relatively cheaper one to try it out and my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.The build quality of this is decent, for the price I would say it's pretty good. I also love the accent color and the dual fan design and also the ability to keep it in a slanted position.Now onto the main stuff, cooling. I am using a Asus ROG G14 2020, and also tried in mac pro as well. I think this is more useful for laptops like mine where the intake vent is under the laptop and so the fan provides a good stream of cool air. This thing is amazing for cooling as after using it, my temps are now over 10C+ lower. For context I use my laptop on manual mode when gaming and so ramp up the fans a bit more than turbo but previously even with full fan speeds, temps would reach over 85C but now even if I don't ramp up my fans only to about 60-70% my temps are down to below 70C. These are all for the cpu, and for gpu temp, it is also a lot lower but to be honest I wasn't worried about that since my CPU was the one reaching dangerously high temps.This is perfect for a regular user like me who doesn't have experience with repasting and stuff so I don't have to do anything out of my comfort zone. Also I go open up my laptop to clean the fans sometimes and that actually is more essential than buying a cooling pad.
