Beautiful Dahlia.
I very carefully planted the root with the buds pointing up. I didn't water it right away because they said that the bulb might rot. Two months has passed and I think I see something breaking ground. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I almost given up hope.The Dahlia took over 2 months to finally sprout out but it has and it is beautiful. The problem with me is that the size of the blossom is only about 3 in across. The dahlia in the rest of my garden is easily 9 in across.
