Coverking Custom Windshield Sunshade for Select Ford Models - Reflective Mylar Foam (Silver)

This sunshade ( Coverking Custom Sunshade for Select Ford Models - Reflective Mylar Foam (Silver) ) is very effective, and sized such that it fits the windshield of my Ford E-250 supercargo van. When the shade is installed, it covers the interior of the windshield glass completely top-to-bottom (with a slight overlap at the headliner, adjacent to the sun visors) and almost completely left-to-right.I deducted a star because of issues relating to installing and storing the sunshade.- The cutout for the mirror is so narrow that it's difficult to install ... if the v-shaped cutout at the top of the shade was a little wider at the headliner -- an inch or so on each side -- the cover would be easier to install around the mirror. Such a modification would decrease by a negligible amount the light blocked, but significantly ease installation. It would also prevent the crease(s) that forms from bending the shade to get past the mirror.- Rolling the  Coverking Custom Sunshade for Select Ford Models - Reflective Mylar Foam (Silver)  for storage results in the shade being more difficult to install. The foam comprising the inner layer of the shade exhibits a memory effect ... it'll try to return to its rolled-up state (evidence of this tendency can be seen in the photo of the product). It's easy to deal with this on the driver side of the shade, not so easy at the edge of the passenger side without stretching, contorting, or just shifting over to the passenger seat from the driver's seat. Rather than roll the sunshade for storage, I drape it outstretched over the contents in the cargo compartment. This is likely not an option for some.@ Coverking. Should y'all happen to read this review, I'd be delighted to try an improved version of this sunshade, fabricated with pre-formed accordion pleats engineered to not impact durability ... even if it costs more, because with the folds, the shade would have to be several inches wider. Creases in the shade (such as the one in the passenger-side upper corner of my sunshade that resulted from me not accommodating the re-rolling behavior before I knew better) appear to significantly deform the interior foam layer, and I'm concerned about delamination.

Purchased this for my 2000 Ford E450 RV and it fits the front window perfectly. Folds up nicely for storage. Definitely a noticeable difference in keeping the cabin cooler on sunny hot days, and I was pleasantly surprised with it's performance on cold nights when it seems to stay warmer. Overall a nice product.

Cover was a joke! A BAD JOKE! Was ENTIRELY TOO SMALL for 2004 E150! Gave it to a coworker with a compact car. Fit hers perfectly! Shipping was quick though.

This item insulates much better than I expected and the price is right!

Very very nice , wish it covered the side windows as well .
