The only reason why I got these is because they're long, and I use a standing desk.The first thing I noticed was that this cable has no latch. DisplayPort cables are supposed to latch into the port and provide a button for you to press on in order to release it. I tried the cable anyway, and sure enough, it was loose in both my monitor and in my GPU. The screen flickered and I used it for all of one minute before giving up and reverting to the cables that the monitor's manufacturer provided.Then I checked the DisplayPort website to see if the manufacturer is VESA certified. Unsurprisingly, they are not. They just churn out garbage that may or may not work depending on how snug your ports are and hope you'll be too lazy to return the cable afterward.Don't get these cables if you actually want them to stay connected. Look for cables with buttons on the end, as these have latches that DisplayPort cables are supposed to have.

This cable matches the specks from stock cables from monitor #1 and #2. This cable is on monitor #3. The only drawback to the stock cable is the length that is why I bought this one. Looks like it is good quality cable and more importantly can support these HIGH-end monitors capabilities.

Did not buy for gaming, but rather for development. Have an LG widescreen curved monitor and wanted something that worked well right at the start. It did!

I bought this JSAUX DP Cable to replace an Amazon Basics DP cable that developed a short after about 6 mouths routed through my monitor arm's built in cable management. This was not in an extremely hard use case, it was never kinked, the tightest bend was about 3 inches. It developed a short just from being rotated with the monitor arm a couple times a day for 6 months.I cannot believe that the 2 cables are going for about the same price, there is no comparison in build quality. The JSAUX looks a feels like it should be twice the price of the Amazon brand one. The JSAUX has a braided sheath, the cable is much thicker and heavier feeling, the cable ends have good bend reinforcement and the ends are metal. Overall the look and feel of the JSAUX is an order of magnitude better then the Amazon one. I cannot attest to the durability of the JSAUX cable yet as I have only been using it for a couple of days, but expect that it will last much longer. I will update this review if the JSAUX develops any problems.As for functionality both of the cables work perfectly fine at 1440p 120hz, so the amazon cable would be fine for runs that do not get moved around much, but at about the same price, get the JSAUX cable. I would not recommend the Amazon cable unless it drops to like $8.

I don't understand why every cable I buy has to be clad in this super thick, totally unnecessary braided sheathing. I don't need it to run underneath my trailer, I just need it to sit quietly behind my desk, where no one will ever see it. Manufacturers: start focusing on slimmer, more flexible, no-frills cables?Anyway, super stiff, I had a hard time getting it neatly routed through a pivoting LCD mount. Actually it routed just fine but it's so stuff I couldn't put a smaller bend radius in it to hide it from sticking out beneath my monitor. The overmold is also so thick it kinda stresses the DP connection on the monitor. Won't buy again.

It's rare to see a cable at this price that is made as well as this one. As others have mentioned the braided cable is a bit on the stiff side, but that somewhat works to the cable's advantage in my case, for the only negative that I found with this cable: the lack of a locking mechanism. I've found DisplayPort connections to be the most flakey of any video transmitting cable I've ever used. The lack of any way to securely attach the cable results in a number of situations where the cable can be dislodged, and this proved to be an issue for my setup. However, because the cable has some stiffness to it, chances are good that you'll be able to bend it in such a way as to minimize the chances of the cable not seating fully. So far, I've been very happy with how it performs, despite only using it on the rare occasions I need two monitor's worth of screen real estate. This cable is connecting a 4K@60Hz monitor, for reference. While I think I'd prefer a cable with a latch mechanism, I would still repurchase this one because the price is excellent and the signal it transmits is reliable.

Got this as an extension for my Acer Predator 2k monitor and it didn't work directly out of the box. Plugged into the same ports i was using with the same cable before and immediately screen bugged out. Constant black screen flickering inconsistent connection. Crap cable, no clip to stay in place and no amount of moving stopped it. Plugged the old cable back in to make sure i hadn't just damaged either ports somehow and it works just fine. Don't buy.*Update* Just to be sure i had them do a replacement cable instead of a return, just to make sure I hadn't gotten a lemon. Second cable just as bad. I'm ordering a different brand cable and would rather my old display cable drape across until then.

I've been getting JSAUX brand of cables, everything from RCA's to USB's, and been really happy with the quality of them. I needed a display port cable for my new monitor, and grabbed this 10ft-er. My goodness, it is hands down the best display port cable I have ever laid hands on. The cable is very thick, with a very nice silver braided sleeve. The connectors are rock solid, with a heavy-duty feel to them. I truly believe that this cable will last a very, very long time. It screams "high quality" from end to end. I highly recommend this brand of cables. They have never disappointed/ nor failed me in the past, and I know this new cable will continue with JSAUX's definition of what "high quality" means to them.

I have had this cord for almost 6 months with minimal movement and it cuts in and out all the time... constantly having to unplug it to reset it... I ended up buying a new cable locally and it hasnt given a single issue since

Works for 1440p monitor at 100hz gaming

Really don’t know what i can say about a cable after a few weeks really… works like any other but it does look tougher than most, time will tell
