Information and pictures give inaccurate description of width of edge guard strips
I stupidly went and got this edge guard in the rush before Christmas, as we were expecting visitors with young children and wanted to replace our damaged, existing ones. The page itself has some kind of confusing measurements (see screen-grab), but the photos appeared to show that these would be wide enough for the purpose. They aren't.They are 2cm wide, if you measure them from the outside, but only 1.5cm measured from the inside, due to the thickness of the material. Meaning that 1.5cm is the width of the area that sticks to one side of each corner.3cm, approx. in total, if you stretch them out a bit flat. The door I used for reference in the photo is 4.3cm and you can see how the edge guard covers the bare minimum edge of it.I can't believe no-one took correct measurements of this edge guard and stated them clearly on the page.I got any number of emails from the seller about feedback, but when I finally wrote back this week and told them the photos and information were misleading they questioned why... Thought it would be obvious, but, well..I hope these photos and explanation are clear enough...Not sure where their 39 x 56 x 38 cm measurements come from...I don't usually leave negative reviews.Normally, I would just return the items, but I hate misleading information. It is a hassle, frankly.I am giving the product 2 stars because the black colour IS nice..The material feels like any other guard, soft.. Not sure how durable it will be, though.I guess that you could use these to protect corners of slim edges...And I am sure other people will find them useful.Like I said, my problem is why the inaccurate info.Thanks.

unpractical, unhappy
super strong tape they said? left it to dry for 24 hours as instructed. two days later, 9 month old baby alreay pull it off and chew it. it is very chunky, do not stick well, look ugly on our furniture. can’t understand good reviews of people happy with it.It is 17£, way too expensive for what it is. also you have to put the double face tape yourself on the foam, which makes it very time consumming to install. I do not recommend.

Different colour expected
It looks like a standard foam edge protector which I bought to replace a rather bad choice of white colour I had put in our dining table. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the colour I received is nothing like the photos shown for the product. Is a rather dark brown as you see in the photo and doesn’t match to a previous brown protector I had from another purchase. The application was easy and you could quickly adjust while the glue of the sticker was freshly applied. Time will tell for the adhesion.

Absolutely waste of time and money
The product is soft and seems good enough to absorbe any hit etc. However the adhesive is (3M) is totally rubbish. My wife and the 10 months old were away and cleaned the area first and I have stuck these foams around the edges of anything has got solid corners. Seems settled nicely first but after a couple of hours they started to come off on their own without touching them. Can imagine that my little one could rip them apart in matter of mili- second if she was here.Don't know how this product has got so many stars. I am not sure what the alternative could be but this one is absolutely waste of time and money. Not happy at all.

Easy to install and very soft
My daughter has just started to roll everywhere and almost crawling so decided to install some soft guardd to stop her hitting her head. This product works really well, is very easy to fix and very soft and a good thickness. You get a large roll of guard which you cut to size, and then add double sided tape which is included. The corners have the tape already attached. The roll was more than enough to do all the furniture I was concerned about with plenty to spare! As a bonus I received a soft door stop which I wasn't expecting. Works really well and will stop my daughter getting her fingers trapped under the door and closing it!I think the black colour works quite well on wood and doesn't look as bad as I expected. I haven't tried removing it yet but I don't think it will leave marks and looks like it should be easy.
