I bought these because I work on cars daily and a lot of new cars are starting to use torx screws instead of just Phillips to hold interior panels together. I've probably used them every single day since I received them and they seem to be holding up fine, even using them with my makita impact driver. These have quickly become one of my favorite attachments and if they ever break, the price is so low I wouldn't mind buying another without a second thought.

These are the tamper proof ones although I'll never need them for that..a few of the holes for the tamper proof part are a lil off center so if u use them for that they might not go all the way into the bolt...I jus use them on regular torx bolts and they all fire and work fine

These seem to be great Torx bits. I used them to disassemble and clean one of my Kershaw knives and it worked great this task. I haven't had to use them in a super high torque environment, but the T8 & T10 bits didn't strip or break on me. Great to have a full set around for various tasks them invariable come up. For the price it's hard to beat!

I like the set but the smaller bits weren’t very strong, the bits began to strip only using a hand screwdriver . I just used them to once on a very light job . The bigger ones were just fine.

Good quality and good if you need a long skinny neck on the small torx sizes, which is why I bought this set specifically.You do have to be careful about using too much torque with the small sizes. I just used the bit by hand (did not attach a driver to the bit) which works for un-tightening factory-tightened screws as well as ensuring no over-tightening

I used one of the smallest Torx tools on about a dozen tiny screws in a computer hard drive. The tool stood up to all those tightly fastened screws quite well; without any deforming.I will admit that I didn't use a handle at first, but instead used my fingers of both hands to loosen the screws. Near the last three screws I used a quarter inch nut driver on the tool and it still held up well.I will add that using delicate tools like this demands some commons sense on the user's part. Don't attach a full sized ratchet and socket to these tiny tools or you will wring them off. That's just common sense as I said. The larger Torx are stouter and can take much more torque I'm sure.

I got this set of bits to work on a few magnetic hard drives. On the 4th or 5th drive I disassembled, one of the screws was slightly tight & the teeth on the bit bent to the point that it cannot be used anymore (the T6 bit). I would understand that happening if I had been using a power screw driver or drill, but this was done by hand & I'm not a big guy. I would not recommend this item as it is not very durable & also cannot be returned easily since it was not sold to me by Amazon.

Good stuff. Needed them to open/clean my PS4 & they did the job with ease. Good price, too. Whole set cost about what one bit costs in the hardware store. Two thumbs up.
