Perfect for protecting hand from the heat
Works as intended. I use my cast iron skillet almost daily and I am happy with this hot handle holder. The only negative is cleaning. Not easy to completely dry out the inside if you get water in there, small space and thickness makes it difficult to get even a paper towel thoroughly into. You risk the handle rusting if the holder is not completely dry inside. I am fine with this issue because I have two holders so I can leave one out for a few days for any water residue to dry up. I would recommend this hot handle holder to others.

Works Well
This is the 2nd time buying a product like this. The first time, it was a different brand and the neck on it was too narrow to go over my handle. This one fits perfectly. None of these work well enough to still lift the pan without a potholder, at least not with a gas stove like mine where a lot of heat comes around outside the pot and gets the handles hot, but it helps for quick touches

Big improvement over cloth type

Perfect Fit
My son-in law cooks a lot and likes to use cast iron. When he bought his skilled(not Lodge) he discovered the heat proof handle included, didn’t fit his pan. I use Lodge and have this type of heat proof handle and it is perfect. I Can’t live without it for my 8, 10, & 12 inch cast iron skillets.He loved it and said it fits perfectly!

Nice idea, but does not work well
I got this for use with a round griddle that we use for making crepes. Was looking for a permanent alternative to using a potholder when I pick up the griddle and tilt it around to spread the batter. It got too hot to be useful, and the cast iron handle started slipping on the inside of it. Half-way through my first use, I pulled it off and went back to using a potholder.

Not a snug fit
I have an old #9 Griswold iron skillet with the key hole handle = I won't use this silicone handle holder for fear of in the process of lifting it will slide right out. I will not return instead I will give to my daughter she has Lodge iron skillets. Handle cover is more than likely specific for the Lodge brand🥲
