Love is Communications
When I first learned of this book, I knew that I had to read it. It did not disappoint. The authors weave an amazing story, communicating the power of Love and it’s ability to communicate on level mostly ignored, if not forgotten. Does it work in business? Absolutely. It made me think of another favorite: “Love is The Killer App” by Tim Sanders. So good in fact, that I have both the paperback, the Kindle version, and the clip I shared is a screen print of Alexa reading the Kindle version to me. A must read… or listen! Looking to start a business or put the wheels back on one that took its eyes off the culture, this is “the one” for this moment in your adventure. Tell’em SKI sent you!

Inspiring Read, A must read for anyone working with people!
I don't know if binging a book is a thing, but I don't think I've read a book this quickly since the first Harry Potter book found its way into my life as a young woman a few decades ago. I turned the pages so quickly, completely moved by each and every story shared about how they actually did it wrong time and time again and what they learned from every misstep. This raw, look behind the curtains approach to what unexpectedly categorizes as a business book is something I haven't seen before, and frankly I only picked up out of curiosity. Love? Where are they possibly going with this?I read a ton of articles and some books on business, specifically trying to learn how to be a better leader. Typically trudging my way through a million, often outdated statistics making the content dry and honestly feel like I'm running through an obstacle course trying to figure out how these concepts even apply to me. Not this book, all through it they ask me directly to think about my reality and what this looks like for me in my world. And they map out actionable, tangible things I can do immediately in my everyday to be a better leader and create a great culture, a culture of love.Highly recommend this to all types of leaders - aspiring leaders (maybe not in a "leadership role" yet), those new in the workplace looking for a guide forward or those who have been a round a while and think by now they know it all. You definitely don't, I know I didn't.

Excellent strategy!
This subject may have been skirted in corporations, but never overtly embraced. The idea that employees need to be heard and recognized (loved) can be simple, and must be deliberate. Mohammed and his amazing team have put this strategy to pen and paper. If you truly prioritize your employee's experience, this is a means to a meaningful and successful journey in that space.

Becoming a better leader takes deep introspection—this book helps you build the courage to go deep.
Like a lot of people, I've struggled to adapt to the new work-from-home world, and figure out how to lead my team in an all-virtual work environment. Most leadership advice and books are strong on theory, but I haven't run across many real-world examples that I could identify with. Enter "Love as a Business Strategy."Love as a Business Strategy is a revelation - the best parts of the book are when the authors get honest and vulnerable, showing us their biggest people-mistakes. The stories and anecdotes made me cringe with recognition of my own flaws, and made me respect the apologies and corrections that these leaders made to improve their own personal workplace behaviors. These stories have added up to me realizing that I'm not going to find my better leadership self on a shelf or in someone else's theory. It's up to me to get honest and introspective, the way the "Love as a Business Strategy" team does.

A Game Changer for the Corporate World
Was looking for a book to help me introspect, change the way I operate and empathize with my peers and leads and this book was just the silver lining that I was looking for.Derived from real experiences , this book is easy for me to understand and will definitely start applying the six pillars on a day to day basis.Servant leadership and feedback sections were my favorite parts of the book. The world is going through a crisis currently with Covid and as I was reading, made me realise that Humanity needs to be at the forefront of every business and the way we treat each other and take care of each other with love is the primordial source of success for a corporate manager like me.Thanks for taking time and sharing these insights. Will definitely be looking out for more books from you guys in the near future.

A book to help you build loyal and high performing teams that create sustained business outcomes
This book shows leadership in action in the real world by imperfect people. It shows how we all make mistakes in the way we treat each other and gives actionable steps to build bridges both up and down the leadership chain. Many leadership books talk about convoluted leadership concepts (like executive presence), but this book emphasizes a practical approach that is not mythical and does not just boost the appearance of a leader. The ideas discussed can be easily applied by anyone to create growth mindsets, psychologically safe environments, and increase resilience in their teams leading to tangible business outcomes. This book helped me understand my team better and turn a few internal conflicts into thriving relationships, putting my team on the path to overtaking our marketing goals for the month.

100% recommend people to not just read this book, but study it!
What strikes me the most about this book is the candor that becomes evident in the form of very personal stories, some rather embarrassing and very relatable, about how this company, Softway, and its leaders, have transitioned from cultivating a culture full of toxicity which was driven by fear to one that puts people and humanity at the forefront, a culture that is driven by love for one another.Love as a Business Strategy does away with the usual corporate jargon and cheesy success stories that are prevalent in such books but is instead an exposé of a very raw and authentic journey that Softway goes through, highlighting both the good and the ugly, as it discovers that resilient teams can be created as a result of fostering a culture of love as opposed to one of fear and greed. The authors very crisply outline simple actionable steps to help their readers discover for themselves that love is in fact a business strategy that works. I really loved the fact that I could relate to a lot of the experiences and struggles that are elucidated in the form of everyday, very real work situations that are faced by people all around the world. The book is littered with small golden, or should I say "platinum", nuggets of truth and wisdom that really made me pause and take a long hard look at my mindsets, attitudes and behaviors. My personal favorite exposition is summarized in one line in this book - "The only way to create a culture of love is the hard way."Highly recommend this book!

A must-read for all business leaders
Who would have thought that love had a place in business. Seems like polar opposites. While it did sound cheesy at first, when I read the book, I discovered so many practical applications of love at the workplace. And no, it’s not about romantic love. It deals with some of the pressing issues that any business and leaders could face and ideas, backed by lived experiences about what works. A must-read for all leaders to re-think their approach to solving issues at the workplace. The best part is I could connect with the author as they shared their real-life experiences. The book does not talk down to you, rather helped me introspect on my own behaviours and why it matters. It’s an easy read - loved the story-telling, it’s something anyone can relate to.

New perspective to Business
"Love" and "Business" don't always go together. Business is perceived to be staunchly separate from emotional bandages, and is thought to be something very discrete, out of the way of Love. "Love as a Business Strategy" is a book that bridges the gap between the two. It shows us how Love can be incorporated to make business flourish and how it can be utilized in corporate fields.Inspired by Softway's journey, this book makes us see new perspectives to how business can be handled by keeping people at the forefront, how it can be wonderfully maintained by embracing thoughtful emotions."Love as a Business Strategy" lays out the blueprints for better business outcomes, and doesn't become one of those boring, repetitive business guidance textbooks. Rather, this book is dynamic-- the experiences are first-hand and ideas revolutionary. What makes this particular book special is how oriented to people it is, how it is largely based upon real-life experiences of people in the company, who are far from ideal.By reading this book, it can be felt how doing Business is incubated within a clear understanding of people's minds and their emotions. Vividly visual, very pointedly communicated and wanting to bring a change in how people view business, "Love as a Business Strategy" could be a winner of a book.

Wonderful
Love as a Business StrategyThe very title made me curious when I heard about the book. When I read more about what it is about, I realized it was everything I want to be followed by business, so I immediately decided I had to give it a try.Love as business strategy is not as easy to follow as it sounds, because it doesn't merely mean being kind and loving in a professional environment. It is much more.Since this book is based on experience of implementing the strategy and seeing success at Softway, an IT based organization, they have complete knowledge of what they are talking about. It is all not just theory. It is what people have experimented, experienced and encouraged over the past few years. The clarity reflected in every page while explaining concepts is extremely helpful to understand what is being preached even if you are not someone who is higher in the hierarchy of the corporate setting. It is a book for everyone.I am always a fan of books that explain concepts with a little bit of anecdote. It makes it easy for me to comprehend complex concepts. This one has done the anecdote bit the best with such suitable and relatable ones. There are six significant points that are discussed as the must follow to embrace this strategy. Instead of just telling what to do, they also mention how to do it. For instance, we all speak about inclusion, but how do we include everyone in the right way? This book speaks from the experience of authors on such matters and hence it comes out as the most practical need of the hour.Just as the title suggests it is about love as strategy and also about hope in toxic work culture. I genuinely hope more people read it and understand that work can be optimistic, fun and morally uplifting.
