Wind turbine
For a small off grid turbine it is value for money the five hundred watt power it gives out is ideal. That's why I gave it five star.For the off grid turbine it's value for money. The five hundred watt power it can achieve is ample for charging batteries,inverters.

Easy to set up
This is a very sturdy wind turbine, the body is metal, not plastic!, it comes with a metal mounting plate that I welded to the top of a strong steel tube. It’s easy to put together, and looks great, it’s not windy enough yet for a full power test. After a week of running, I’ve seen this get some very high speed, and only generate about 11 volts. Not much use if your charging a 12v car battery!!!!

12v 500w wind turbine
After a few problems with this turbine initially that I have sorted out now I can confirm that this turbine can only produce 200 watts maximum and not the related 500w, even in strong winds above 50mph constant the most I have seen is 217 watts and that was with strong gusts above 60mph, if you only need a 200w turbine then this one will do what you need
