Son loves, long lasting, but expensive.
It's probably better to just teach your child how to tie their shoes for the cost. I gave it 4 stars, because it's the best of this type lace I've tried and lasts a long time. So, great quality.

so easy to get shoes on!
Slip on shoes are a must for me and these help make any shoe a slip on! I have bought cheaper imitations but I suggest getting the real thing. There really is a big difference

Convenient yes, but they will break over time.
These no-tie laces are convenient. but they do snap regularly overtime. After using these for a while now I'm going to go back to traditional laces. I believe regular laces have a nicer look. not so plasticky.

Not very durable but very handy to use
OK, I never used those myself but I repurchased Hickies probably more than then times for my son. It looks like he uses at least two sets for each pair of sports shoes that last between six months and ea year. He said they are very comfortable and would not go back to classic shoelaces but I say they are not as durable as I would expect for the price paid. Still I am passing my son's recommendation. Just buy and keep some spare loops on you if you decide to travel.
