Fantastic Start to the Series
This is my first Kristin Harte book and it did not disappoint. I completely fell in love with the town of Justice and the Kennards. That Alder was all broody and power, rugged and strong. And just as whipped as he could be when it came to his Shy girl. Lordy!Well written, right amount of action, and more than enough to have me jumping for the next book.

Surprised
This is my first read by the author and I was surprised how well it kept me reading. Shaye an Adler deserved every bit of happiness.

Lots of action mixed in with a good dose of spice.
Since reading this story back in 2018 the author has added an epilogue so it isn't the cliffhanger that I originally received through Book Funnel. There is a thread that runs through the entire series, but at least we have a conclusion to this element of it. The writing style is good, the characters are developed and hold true to form, and there's a decent amount of action mixed in with a heavy dose of spice. A very enjoyable story.

If you want the bad guys to get what they deserve read this series!
I have read all the books in this series. They are intense. I find the characters to be the kind of men that if I had trouble I would want to protect me. In this town, they band together to protect what is theirs. The women are in trouble and the men are there to look out for them. The stories are interconnected, but you can read one book and not lose anything. I find this series to be well written, and the characters to be interesting with happily ever afters - except for the bad guys that is. I highly recommend this set of stories by Kristin Harte.

Protector and Waitress
There is no simple review of this. Girl gets forced into a MC world trying to escape while the towns people try to keep the MC at bay and out of their town. All this while trying to protect those they love. This is intense and some info may be disturbing but overall a good read.

Good Stuff!
Very much good men doing bad things. Alder and Shye are so good together and their backstories are interesting and terrifying.

Good times bad times
Veterans follow veterans and remain loyal. The sex encountered by Alder was too descriptive for me and seemed to be a little too wordy. All in all I liked this book & look forward to the next saga.

Not bad!
This book was written in the first person, in alternate chapters between the two leads. Alder, is an ex green beret, boss of a timber mill, and basically runs the very small town of Justice.Shye, is just like her name and has connections with a nasty motorcycle club. She's over 10years his junior but since they'd met, 3years earlier, he's wanted to claim her. He's surrounded by family and ex military, and when trouble hits his little town he doesn't hesitate to protect it.At 65% the book finished, unexpectedly, with an author's note relaying that a novella continued but there were two separate books in between. One could still understand the story but I found that odd.Overall not bad, very crude language and sex scenes.
