I asked my daughter who needs ear defenders to write her own reviewI have had many ear defenders but these are my favourites. I really do not like loud noises or noisy places. I use them most of the day in school and at play time because the classroom and school yard get very noisy. These really help me stay calm and I can still hear everything with out it hurting my head or making me angry.I like the patterns on them and they are comfy all day. I don’t really like the bag they come in because I don’t like those shiny fabrics but I can use my school bag which is ok.If you are like me and do not like loud noises. I would say to buy these.

I have autism and sound can be a big issue for someone like myself, these are wonderful. They block out a great amount of sound and look nice as well.Eventhough they are advertised for kids I'm 22 and these fit me great.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter who suffers from anxiety and was finding the noise of her friendship groups and school environment difficult to deal with. She loves them already, says she's felt a lot less stressed, they fit her fine and she loves the design. Altogether a fantastic buy for her specific needs. Cuts out a lot of background noise and takes the edge off the volume, but she can still hear her teachers and friends talk to her.It did annoy her when her friend tapped on the earpiece to get her attention-got to train the people I guess! the product is great!

My daughter was instantly drawn to these because of design, on receipt of these she was happy and we’re packed ready for our first outing. I was very happy that my daughter willingly asked for them in busy spaces and it helped her keep calm in situations she finds difficult. Over all we are pleased with the ear defenders, she finds them comfy. A few points to consider, my daughter is 9 and these are almost at the end of the length extension, they also not feel the sturdiest ear defenders we have ever had. So if your child is particularly heavy handed they might not be suitable, they fold down slightly but don’t tuck really small like others we have used. but for our needs they work well

I was a little dubious when I ordered these as I didn't think they would prove to be that good. However I have to say AMAZING!!!For the first time in I don't know how long I was able to go out in public without having to go home within 10 mins.They reduce the sounds significantly.No more migraines due to sensory overload. I can even look forward to going outside to watch fireworks this year.Fantastic... thanks for giving me back a world to explore without the pain of noise.

Broke after two months, only used at School, for a few hours a day!!Got these for my 10 year old to help him at School, one side snapped off as he was adjusting it to fit his head. They are literally only two months old, can't even be sent back, as you only get 28 days to return...

My daughter has sensory processing disorder and has been struggling with loud noises in school, thay are excellent she loves them and had her dinner on the hall for first time with out distress. Just what I needed them to do

Bought these for my suspected ADHD daughter with sensory issues. She uses a similar pair at school and asked for a pair at home too. Love the purple galaxy pattern and my daughter uses them in noisy settings so she doesn't get overwhelmed. Fit quite firmly around the head and adjustable too so should last her a while. The ear pads do have a tendancy to snap off but can easily be clipped back on so hasn't been a major issue. The defenders seem quite good at reducing the level of noise heard but do not block it out completely which we like as it means we can still talk to our daughter while she's wearing them.
