We already have a heavy duty hose of this type of design which is very good but not quite long enough.So this was bought as an extension - it is very good value and works well so far - the casing is not as tough as our other but that one was £30! The connectors are metal but not brass - this is actually a good thing as we have brass on the other hose and they are just really heavy - the last thing you want if washing a vehicle is a heavy bit of metal flailing about denting your bodywork.The only thing that could be improved is to have a valve at the hand spray end so you could change a fitting without emptying the hose (disconnected it lets all the water out and shrinks back to it's small size before you get another fitting on).Overall very happy with this and I now have enough hose to reach all the way round the van.If it breaks I will buy another - £12 is quite a bargain!

It wasn't clear how to attach the head to the hose or the hose to the tap (you pull back the metal collar to attach it at either end). Once assembled, however, it is doing a great job.

1. Trick is to fill it with water under pressure, let it self extend completely, before using it (e.g. the spray gun). Otherwise, you will wonder why it is so short and have to pull it to reach, which is probably not good for longevity.2. The "brass" coloured fittings are definitely not brass - I have brass fittings of similar dimensions and they are far heavier. These are clearly anodized aluminium, so are not going to be as durable (salt corrosion resistance would be a real concern for alu but hopefully the anodization helps) as brass. But for the price, can't really complain.

Great hose for small gardens as takes up no room at all. Good value for money.

I've brought two of these, The first one seemed very good quality and durable so I decided to get another one. The first time I used the second one water came squirting out from it! It's usable but I wonder about the longevity of the product

Does what it says on the tin

It looks like hose pipes of back in the day. (Pre 1960) but this is very lightweight. Important to me because of arthritis. Long & has great reach. None of these plastic ends. Good old copper attachments. The hose head is plastic but the spray is powerful. Good choice of adjustments. Will buy another. Very pleased.
