I wanted a 6 hole A5 paper size punch and found that there are several sizes of paper that are nearly A5 that have six holes. I tried one that punched three holes and then you had to turn the paper and punch the other three, but wasn't particularly successful in lining the paper up. I was a bit wary of this one because I wasn't sure what the spacings were, but I shouldn't have worried. I've put a photograph of the box to show the flexibility of this punch. It's simply superb at what it does. Very solidly built too, except for the small flat springs holding the sliding mechanism, but since I don't think I'll ever be resetting it after the first setting that doesn't bother me too much.Doesn't take as many sheets at once as some, but as all the holes are always in the correct place I'm not too bothered about that either.Would I buy it again? Yes, definitely.

With three sizes of Filofax, and often creating custom pages, I only had a personal size punch. Totally unable to perfect the flip method for A5 pages, I have searched for a long time to find a solution to my problem. This punch does it all and does it very well. It is sturdy, feels well made and solid. The markings on the front could be better defined - I struggled to set the placing for pocket pages, eventually realising the marks were actually there but unclear to me. It is also possible to punch B paper sizes, which could be useful fo some people. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

Decent enough, but no good for 9 hole Filofax Deskfax punching. The Deskfax takes B5 paper and has 9 holes in a 3/3/3 format, the same gaps as a Personal Filofax. To do this successfully, you need a Personal size 6 hole punch with an extendable arm that you can set to the correct distance to get the correct gap between the top of the page and first set of holes (about 15mm). You then punch and flip and punch again. If your settings are correct, the middle holes will have been punched perfectly the second time.Sadly, the minimum distance for the extendable arm on this hole punch is 19mm meaning you have to mess around with tape and nonsense, but you get irregular punches and end up being very annoyed.

This seems a nice, sturdy little punch and I like being able to punch A5 pages without flipping the paper over. The adjustment mechanism is easy to use and it punches fairly cleanly. I'm not sure why the retractable page guide is on the top rather than the bottom though? I find it a little more fiddly to use that way than if it were on the bottom like most other hole punches.

Perfect! I had an old A5 Filofax which I wanted to start using again but was put off by the cost of the official paper. Then I found this! It’s sturdy and strong and I can now just cut A4 paper in half, punch it and hey presto👍🏽! Yes it only punches maybe 5-6 pages at once but that’s no problem, only takes a few seconds to punch holes. Looks and feels a high quality product. Touch wood, i cannot see this malfunctioning it is very well built
