Extremly let down everlast is either junk or i just got a lemon?
Gotta say im extremly let down! I hear all the hype from the so called youtube weld warriors sorta say about everlast. I. So i figure ok lets get one it came and either everlast is junk or im hoping i got a fluke lemon? I been working in the aerospace and defense field for 20 plus years i know maybe this is why you dont see them in our industry. But i do like the looks and hoping maybe the customer service is better then the product and get me a replacement out asap and see how that goes.. will update after i hear from them and if i do ?

Good deal for the price.
Have wanted a plasma cutter for a long time. I’m just a home gamer so couldn’t justify one of the major name brands. Decided upon this Everlast as a good compromise. I’ve seen their machines used on major welding channels on YouTube (Weld.com) so figured it would be a total piece of junk.I haven’t used it a whole bunch, but what I have used it for so far, I’m pleased with my purchase. I will need more practice to hone my skills.Specs say this requires 5.0 cfm and 25 gallon tank for a compressor. Everyone says that you should get one that is 1.5 times what you are running requires. I couldn’t find one that fit that that was 220 and couldn’t run another circuit right away. Settled on a 110 volt that is rated at 6.4 cfm at 90 psi with a 25 gallon tank. Doing short cuts, the air compressor kept up but runs more often than a higher capacity machine. So, you can get by with a near recommendation rated compressor. My only real complaint is that the ground lead is very short (7-8’) and the clamp is cheap. That is something I will upgrade in the future.

Works great
Not a professional here, but I do a lot of hobby cutting on 10ga to 1/4inch material... It eats it all like butter as long as its on 240v.On 110v, it's really very nearly useless for anything above the thinnest material. If you were only doing light auto body panels, it'd probably do ok.Can't really say much bad about it though, works fine. Way better than I expected.

Awesome plasma for the price.
This is my third everlast piece of equipment and I'm not disappointed. I've only used it on 110v( haven't made a 220v adapter yet) but it's cut 3/16 steel and 1/8 aluminum no problem. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the ground lead is insanely short.

Replacement pending
The first unit doesn't work. Customer service was VERY helpful and are sending a replacement. I will update review upon trying the second unit.

Plasma cutter
So far this works great . The biggest problem i see is a extremely short ground . If you buy one that will be the first thing you have to replace . You would think that for a machine as nice as this they would invest the extra $5.00 to give us a reasonable ground .
