Qixels S3 3D Maker

This is a neat product! My son who is in 1st grade can do all by himself and the finished product is amazing! My older boys in 4th and 7th like to make things too! Great esteem building project for 1st graders! Built well! My only recommendation is to buy Refill Pack for extra colors as some of the colors are not included in the Maker. The refill pack has pearl colors so my son picked his own colors for the birds. They also have the animal ranch, jungle, bugs and or alien packs in 3d.

My grandson loves it

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson's Christmas present. He is very into "engineering" type toys, loves his Snap Circuits, for example, so this seemed perfect!For a 5 year old, the beads are very small and require a fair amount of dexterity to place each tiny tiny bead on the board (think Lite Brite miniaturized).Our first layer attempt crumbled, so we rebuilt it, using lots and lots of water the second time. That worked much better. By the time he got to the third layer, he was tired of it. I found it interesting and enjoyable, though he hasn't finished a project yet (3 weeks later).Follow the tips of other reviewers as well: Make sure the build platform is all the way up before you flip your layer onto it. Suppport it from underneath with your spare hand and use plenty of water.

Out of our qixels adventure this seems to be the best purchase so far. It actually works and comes with a decent amount of those little thingies. I learned the hard way though that you really do need to put the spacers that aren't actually labeled anywhere as spacers. We thought they were just clear ones. Nope. The directions don't actually say anywhere that oh by the way these clear ones don't stick and are meant to be used where there are white squares with black dots. Thankfully I did the first one so my son wasn't disappointment in his first go round at this. So yeah it would be great if the instructions were more clear but hopefully everyone else figures it out sooner than I did.

well built toy very happy with the product not that hard to do once you read the instructions and take your time don't rush once you get the hang of it it's lots of fun keeps me occupied also it does not come with black cubes but am Allright I had a refill kit I stole from also have other one on the way A+

My 5 year old loves it. He is learning how to build 3D structure. It is difficult for him at the beginning and after some explanation he's starts getting the three dimension idea. One important thing needs to bring up is two small bags of qixel cube only come with 1 cube inside! That means I got less cube than advertised! It also means poor product quality check.Also, the cubes don't stack/align well on top of each other. The platform concept is good but the design is not perfect especially for younger kids.

I gave this as a gift. It was difficult to understand the directions and I don't think was ever used successfully.

I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. He loves being able to create things that are 3 dimensional. We also bought an additional expansion pack. The first couple of builds he needed help with, but after that he did the rest on his own.We've done a lot of designs with perler beads in the past, but my son was always a bit frustrated that he needed to wait for me to iron them when he was done. gran bel prodotto facile e divertente da usare ... regalato ad un bambino di 7 anni che ne è rimasto entusiasta...i personaggi si costruiscono strato su strato intervallandoli con l'acqua...i tempi di asciugatura sono di circa 30 minuti ma a mio avviso ce ne vogliono di più ...pochi i modelli inclusi nella confezione che comprende le bustine con i quixel, la macchinetta per la costruzione,il contenitore per l'acqua e un pennellino che da un lato spennella l'acqua e dall'altro stacca i pezzi trasparenti che servono per fare il 3d che una volta asciugati vanno tolti per poter poi essere riutilizzati e naturalmente i modellini e le istruzioni non in lingua italiana ma con foto dettagliate ed esaurienti...lo cosiglio

My 9yr old grandson loved this and has spent hours playing with it.Great excitement - he recognised the shape of the box before unwrapping it!Child friendly clear instructions.Good value for money.
