Person coming from a business family can very easily relate to every word written in this book, the same holds true to small entrepreneurs too. Book is very well organized first it sets the stage for why family businesses, their importance, why they are required then it goes on to help them with the tool kit for survival and how they can reinvent themselves, become more relevant in present day scenarios. Book narration is lively and good as author has shared her learnings gained from her experiences, her interactions with her father, his beliefs and more.For me the biggest take away was what I was doing blindly/routine book adds perspective to readers mind and start viewing businesses in a new light, how and why standards/procedures set by big corporates don't apply to small businesses.Though book shares lot of learnings personally felt it lacked depth at certain topicsWould recommend to all bussiness personnel and small entrepreneurs as it would definitely help them.

The Author's observation on her father's journey has been shown in this book clearly and it's remarkable. That is also true that the experience we get by seeing our elders working in the family business and also working with them is different than learning these practical knowledge somewhere else. This book further talks about the importance of family businesses, how to see the current changes and adapt according to that, how to prepare for it and see past fears, how to take risks and survive failure and be prepared for it and about the changes from the post pandemic era to now in businesses. It was a really informative book that helped me see things clearly and to know more about dealing with many things in the business field. Overall, a very insightful read.
