This thing is a beast. It makes the job of a regular screwdriver so much easier. It feels solid in the hand and has a very good grip. It has multiple bits built into it but also accepts any regular bits you have lying around. The ratcheting mechanism seems to work flawlessly and it’s very easy to change direction. I can’t recommend this ratcheting screwdriver enough.

This replaced my power drill for everyday tasks. No dead batteries to worry about. Today alone, I used it to replace door hinges, fix a door knob, and assemble flat-pack furniture. The bit storage in the handle is awesome and makes it perfect for a kitchen junk drawer. I actually gifted one to my sister-in-law; she wasn't thrilled to get a tool, but I loved it so much I bought one for myself. Hands down, a fantastic purchase! During Christmas sales, it was around $17.

I recently added the CRAFTSMAN Ratcheting Screwdriver to my collection, and it has quickly become my go-to tool for countless tasks around the house and garage! This screwdriver is an absolute powerhouse of convenience and efficiency, easily earning a full 5-star rating. What I love most about this screwdriver is its superb ratcheting mechanism. It's incredibly smooth and precise, allowing for quick and effortless turning of screws without having to reposition my hand. This saves so much time and wrist strain, especially when working in tight spaces or on repetitive tasks. The ability to switch between forward, reverse, and locked positions with a simple flick is incredibly intuitive and reliable. The comfortable handle is another huge plus. The Speed-drive is a nice feature. You select the direction by pushing the knob up/down. Then while holding the Speed-Drive you rotate the handle left or right and the driver will move the selected direction. The gears though I feel need to be deeper/larger or the pall needs more contact, even if they have to reduces the tooth count. The whole point of this thing is that the ratchet mechanism is actually driving the bit when you use the speed-drive. So stronger contact between gears would be nice for tougher jobs and reducing slippage. It works though and some people probably prefer the gears to be lighter for smoother turning. Handle is bi-material, but is mostly rubberized, fits comfortable in my hand. It's on the heavy side, which is expected with the extra gears and long bits. It's balance with the bits in is pretty good. Shaft has some side/side and up/down wobble buts it not excessive. Bit Storage is a revolver/carousel holder inside the handle under a screw-cap. Handle can actually easily hold all 7 bits in the handle not 6 as advertised. 8 if you include keeping one in the shaft. Bits retention is done through a slot that slips into the indent on the bits, which works fine but I suspect it will wear out over time. I would have preferred maybe 1-2 ball detents instead. So far though the bits are held in pretty tightly. The bits themselves are okay and marked although it's strange that they include 3 PH3s. It gets the job done and for $15 dollars the quality is acceptable.

Good value. Well made. Reversible. Comes with Torx, Phillips, and slot bits stored in handle. Bit retention is excellent.

The double Drive on this is awesome as is the bit holding in the handle and the bit organization. Cannot recommend it enough. I had one like this that I purchased from a different brand at Lowe’s years ago, and could never find anything like it again. When I found this, I ordered it and tried it out at home, and when I found out, it was even better than what I had purchased before, a instantly bought three more and will be giving them out to my family as Christmas gifts this year. The handle is comfortable, versatile enough to do all of your daily tasks around the house without having to break out the drill, and feels durable and substantial.

When I first bought this I didn’t know it had the speed drive, I thought it was just a normal ratcheting screwdriver. I was amazed, I hadn’t seen something like that before. It’s really cool, it makes driving screws so much faster. The included tips that are stored in the base are nice too. And for the price it’s certainly worth it. I bought 2 more as Christmas gifts.

Everybody get amazed watching my screwdriver in action. It became my favorite hand tool. It looks quality and it truly works. Can even use them one handed with the 2x speed system. Only thing I don't really like is the plastic threads on the back top, looks like your have tight it carefully or the threads will mess up. Other than that, is perfect

Hi Team, Craftsman ratchet in very poor condition after I started using it....it's screws are loose and they are missing The bits are also keep getting detached from ratchet. Please advice how I can get replacement with new one. It's not effective. Please also confirm if its for lifetime replacement how we can proceed.
