Q: Trying to find an airbrush that will hold up to cerakote and high exposure to acetone, will this hold up?

I have not tried the single stage air brush with acetone, but I use 4 other Iwata air bushes and 2 Iwata HVLP guns (for both PPG 2-part paints and nitrocellulose lacquer) and they all work great with acetone. I mostly spray nitrocellulose instrument lacquer and it is acetone based; the cleanup is with acetone also. I always do a final partial-disassembly and rinse with alcohol just to get the o-rings really clean. I have not had to rebuild a gun and I have been spraying for over 5 years. The single stage brush is of equal quality and appears to be made of the same materials and I wold not hesitate to use it.

Only one set-up I think. Mine is .4mm nozzle/needle.

Q: This says it has a 7ml cup, while the iwata eclipse hp-cs has a 9ml cup. is that accurate? the cup on this looks bigger than the hp-cs.

I measured the volume on the HP-M2 and it holds 7ml with room for the cover and about 9ml without the cover. I also have the IWATA High Line CH. The Amazon page for the CH states 9ml Th body on the M2 is short but the diameter is slightly larger, so the cup sits farther into the body on the M2 and causes the photo to be deceiving. The tops for the two can be interchanged and the cups appear to me made identically.
