Very slippery.... which is just what you need to massage out a hardened scar. And smells nice. Personally, I highly recommend Mederma for massaging away a scar from surgery.... starting a few weeks after the surgery.(Some docs say buy the expensive silicon... but it’s the massaging and pressure that make the scar go away, not the kind of gel. Shucks, you could prolly use coconut oil too, but i prefer the feel and nice smell of the Mederma.)

Very drying but have noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin because of this. I payed $750 for a resurfacing treatment and think this has helped more than that!! Definitely stick to it though. It itches at first but you’ll get used to it.

This product works wonders. It has removed deep scars and new scars. After a few months of using the product once a day, my old scars have all almost faded completely away.

Tried it 3 times. 1st time was okay no symptoms/side effects, 2nd time, I felt my skin stinging/burning and VERY ITCHY all over the areas I applied the product. It was so bad I washed it off. 3rd time switched soaps hoping it was my "Acne" soap, same effect, burning/ITCHING SO MUCH stinging on my skin. Washed it off and plan to return it.

I used Mederma years ago on a neck surgical scar and you have to look to see it.Now that I have another, I am religiously using it on that one, and this double pack is a very good price.

This was recommended by my occupational therapist for scar therapy. After using it for 6 months my scar look is not first thing people notice about me. I think it helped.

Smells good, and makes your skin feel softer, just burns your skin a bit when you use it
