Superglue a piece of wire nail to the back
These look extremely good for the money. I hung them up in a nautical-themed bathroom, but every time the door closed, the draft would flip the fish around. Use this trick to keep them in place:1. Cut the ends off two thin wire nails.2. Drill a small hole in the back of each fish.3. Superglue the nail pieces into the hole. (keep the pointy end facing out)4. Hang the fish back up and press them into the wall. Now they'll stay put!

Description said antique hand carved indoor/outdoor but is thin flat wood glued to cardboard fin backing which is not painted at all.

The Sticker on the Back of this Carving Diminishes Its Value
I LOVE this product. But was the sticker on the back of these beautifully carved and hand-painted wooden fish wall ornaments really necessary? If hung on a hook or peg, the back shows. For that reason, carving and painting the backs would enhance this a lot. But at the very least, it would be best not to include the sticker which is difficult to remove and leaves adhesive residue on the back of the carving.
