a girl about to lose everything
Lots of changes for Kelis as she visits old friends and old stories. She also explores new relationships, new feelings, new powers, new fashion. Even the ever disdainful mirror is acting differently. But not all changes are good - and the ones affecting Snow White seem to hearken back to an older stronger magic. Can Kelis find herself before she loses everything?Another fast read full of romance, friendship, and competition. Overlaying it all a sense of uncertainty, the impending doom that Kelis has sensed since page 1. Something threatens in her dreams - but can her dreams be trusted? I loved all the little nods to traditional Snow White stories sprinkled though out.Book 2 of 4 in Kelis' story, these build on each other and must be read in order but her story can be enjoyed independent of the others in the larger Kingdom of Fairytales series. This is an honest and voluntary review of an ARC

Heiress of Mirros
Second book in the Snow White arc Heiress of Mirrors pick up where the first book left us.Snow White is getting worse and her daughter, Kellis, is determined to find a way to help her. She's still really worried and scared cause her nightmare are getting worse. With the help of Topher, she goes into the woods to find the seven dwarves to see if they could help since they were there when Snow was first cursed by her stepmother.I have really loved this one and can't wait to read the third book. I have received an arc from the authors.

A smart mouth mirror and a daughter that is confused
Kellis is a complex tinkerer. She can sense things regarding mechanical items. She knows how to fix almost everything. When clocks which had never worked, do, she had to find out why.The tweedles are involved and nothing is as clear as it seems..Beauty and perfection are rewarded but is it worth it.

Stronger plot line
This book has a stronger plot line as Kelis is more involved with magic and the kingdom. She is also deeper into the original Snow White story. I am still trying to figure out the real role of the mirror, and what impact Jake who is a major jerk has on the Snow White interpretation.

Loving the pace and flow!!
Kellis has her work cut out for her in this next installment. She has a lot to figure out and more to learn. The work building is fantastic and the character development is engaging and great to see.

A good book but wake up Kelis!
A good story overall but I can’t help wanting to take Kelis by the shoulders and give her a good shake to wake her up to real life, especially when it comes to boys!! Hopefully she will improve as the story progresses and I won’t finish the story still wanting to slap her!
