The Light: The Invasion Trilogy Book 3

Sorry it ended
The long anticipated ending is finally here. The battle for humanity is reaching the culmination as groups are torn apart but are far from beaten. Jacob has been drawn into the battle not only because he was given no choice; fight with the resistance or he and his family would be sent to a camp where survival could not be guaranteed. Of course there was no choice so he joins and he fights. Unfortunately a new threat has entered as the real cause of the Deltas is learned. A enemy, the creator of the Deltas has arrived and they are giving no one a choice (possible spoiler), put your weapons down and live or fight back and die. After all they do need servants to assist. The fight is intense and Jacob finds he has a new mission, locate his family because they have now been taken and she is and Katy are to be forced into a communal group. There is so much more to the Aliens that have arrived with different hierarchy among them although the major players are not really seen or even heard from since they use 'Messengers' who appear to be just as much prisoners as humans. The ending is anticlimactic and felt like it was rushed because we learned only a small portion about the main invading force. But is is a good read, the fighting scenes are intense and will keep you glued to it. But there are still, in my opinion, too many questions and not enough answers. Maybe it should have another trilogy to explain more about the aliens, their home world, where they came from although why are here is explained briefly. I honestly don't see this as the end but perhaps a new beginning for Jacob and Laura and the remnants of humanity. Or at least I am hopeful it will be. And I am actually looking forward to the Audible.

...they can't win but they can fight...
There are many 'alien invasion' stories/books out there but most are so over-the-top that they're simply corny, bordering on ridiculous. Let me be perfectly clear - this is not one of those stories. It works perfectly with the good guys getting handed their backsides but fighting on even though it is a losing situation - they can't win but they can fight - and they do, very hard. It's also a story about a normal guy learning to soldier, not some super hero, just a normal Joe. The entire series is excellent. Excellent! My only complaint was when it ended it felt like maybe it wasn't over as there is a lot of wiggle room for more books... Why? Because these guys didn't quit when the chips were down so why would they quit now, with this sort of winter armistice? They wouldn't. I hope to see another few books to add to this trilogy in the near future.

WOW. THIS ENDING WILL BLOW YOU AWAY
WOW, what a great ending to another super series by J.W. Lundy. This is one book that will make everyone think twice about the darkness and everything that is out there and goes bump in the night. Mr. Lundy has written a book like no other and he has done it with style. His writing is always right on and the places he takes us is definitely like no other, but this is one ending that will blow you away. This book picks right up where book #2 has ended, so you don't miss a beat and it will take you on a ride that you soon won't forget. This is one Series that you should definitely read and recommend to others. Nothing more needs to be said.

Another solid story from W.J. Lundy!!!
I've got mixed feelings about this one. Don't get me wrong, the author's writing and story telling have nothing but improved book after book and The Light is no exception, I just don't want the storyline to be over. The dialog & action are great and I like the shifting point of view in this book. If this is it for Jacob & his family so be it (the ending doesn't disappoint like some series) but I'm hoping that an additional trilogy is planned for this group of characters because there is still plenty of meat on the bone. Fast paced
Iβm always impressed by the depth of knowledge the author puts into each and every character and book. Edge of your seat reads on every page. His character building in each book is outstanding, even when adding in new characters he does it seamlessly and in a way as to not confuse the reader. His book are always top notch and I look forward to each and every one.

A great ending!!
The assassins did some major alien ass kicking in this book! Jacob, James, Roger, and Duke are once again on the front lines fighting the aliens. We finally get look at the alien invaders who have made the Deltaβs and itβs not looking good. I really enjoyed reading this series and if you like alien invasion, zombie, or survival books then youβll enjoy The Invasion Trilogy.

GREAT SERIES AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
I have purchased every book written by W. J. Lundy and have greatly enjoyed each book. This latest book has been finished in such a way as to continue this series. And Mr. Lundy should continue this series and explore the side of the invaders either having been here and if they are in fact the race of people that created the Gods that human kind prayed to or are phonies. Never the less buy, read and enjoy. I mean every book he has written.

SWEET!
W.J. Lundy does it again with an excellent follow to an incredible series. In away he gets to turn the tables on the free worlds current plight, but that is something you have to see for yourself. My wife yells at me everytime he releases a new one because all i can do is read. High energy fast paced... i have said it all before, read it you will love it. Buyitreaditloveit

Brilliant book as per usual!
Completely different turn of events as per usual apocalyptic reads. I just wonder why they wanted to invade us in the first place - there was no explanation of why they wanted to - our planet is dying scenario. Loved our hero Jacob, and the invasion made him so different from the man he was. Great story, and as usual thanks for entertaining me again.
