The handles are so sturdy and they are perfect for a scratch in those hard to reach spaces. I got one for the whole family! The quality is well and definitely worth the price. I can carry it anywhere because it is about the size of my palm and can extend to the size of my entire leg. It works very well!

These back scratchers are a must. Nice and heavy weight compared to others I have bought. They even have a wider rake than the others. Love the handle. Perfect for reaching that hard to reach area. Also work great for reaching items that have fallen into a hard to reach area or those things that are just out of reach on that high shelf. Lots of uses. Easy to stretch out and put away in a small space.

I've had many of this type over the years, but never with the strong finger grip handles like these. These are the strong and firmest of all the ones I've ever had. Almost too hard to stretch out, but that good, because that helps in the long run. Now, the longer you stretch them, to reach further for an itch, the weeker the scratch - that's science, not the product's fault. But, for most back itches, these don't need to be stretched full out, just a little, and they are strong enough to reach back and take care of the itch. I like the appearance of these black scratcher vs the colorful ones I've bought in the past. The weight is fine, strong enough to itch with. Adjustability is no problem, they have enough friction when extending to hold them sturdy when itching. These look fine when they're sitting on a side table or a desk, so you'll have them handy . Price point is a real deal, actually!

These are great backscratchers at a fantastic price (@$2 ea.)I had one similar that I gifted. These actually seem more solidly constructed than the one I gifted. However, the scratcher is duller and the scratch isn't as satisfying. Others have commented about these being to sharp, so my personal preference may be the reason for the rating.

I love that these come in a set—I can keep one in the living room, one in the bedroom, and one in my travel bag. The telescoping handle extends really far to reach any spot on my back, but collapses down small enough to store easily. The rubber grip is comfortable to hold, and the metal claw gives a much better scratch than the wooden ones. These are sturdy enough to apply good pressure without bending.

If I needed anymore, I would buy again. Sturdy.

I bought a 3-pack for about $6. I should have put that money towards a better back scratcher. I don't think all 3 scratchers are gonna last me a full year. I plan to use them daily for at least the next 2 months since I'm currently handicapped and can no longer reach a good portion of my body. Hopefully, they last during that short period.The claw part of the scratcher doesn't really do a good job of scratching. Partly because it's a bit too small in width. But mostly bc it's too "smooth." This could be a good thing or a bad thing. The edges are smoothed down so as to prevent accidentally painful and harmful scratches. They do help a bit when I've got an itch. But they're nowhere near as relieving as fingernails. I have found myself using wooden chopsticks and other items to scratch an itch - even when I have one of these back scratchers right beside me.The telescoping pole is a nice feature. But the pole itself is flimsy. I was goofing off with my friend while using this thing. She pushed me over and I kinda slump over a bit with the scratcher wedged between me and my couch. I ended up slightly bending and twisting the pole out of shape.Once I no longer need these back scratchers, I thought they'd come in handy for retrieving items in hard to reach places, like under or between furniture. However, these won't be very helpful for that purpose. They can maybe rake out a set of keys or a pen, but nothing with much to it.If you really need a back scratcher, I would find something better. If you just want to have one around the house for the occassional minor itch, this should do fine.
