Glacial UnderCabinet Professional Water Cooler with Hot & Cold

My Purpose: I primarily drink two things:water and tea. I do not like flavored water or anything else people like to drop in water to change the taste. I also only like to drink very cold water. At my work, we have the most disgusting water. I needed something I could put on my desk easily and some what covertly. I can have these at work but I did not want people to use it nor do I want to have a 'water club'. I was not going to be lugging in 5 gallon water jugs everyday.Install: It couldn't have been easier. There are a few steps for initial cleaning they recommend which requires an empty 3, 5, or 5.5 gallon bottle. I did not have this. I was able to go to walmart and get a 3 gallon water bottle for under $5 with refills at .34 cents a gallon to use. I also bought a 5 gallon so I have two bottles, one to use while refilling the other. I only ran regular water through my machine for the initial cleaning. As I stated, I use this at work and do not have a lot of options available to me. You will need at least 3 gallons to fill the internal tanks.Hot Water: The hot water is hot. There is a switch on the back of the machine to turn the hot water on and off. I turn my on when I come into work and off when I leave. It takes about 15-20 minutes to heat.Water Bottles: It does not come with a water bottle. I only state this because the picture has one on it. You can use any type of 3, 5, or 5.5 gallon water bottle. I use what is at walmart because I can refill them easily and for $0.34 a gallon.Cold Water: The factory settings are at a cold temp. It did not take an hour for mine to initially get cold. There is a switch to turn the cold water off, but I do not use it as I drink a lot of water and want it cold. I did have a lot of trouble locating the cold water adjustment. It is not shown in the manual diagram. After some research, you need a flat head screw driver to adjust the cold water temp. I have not done this yet but the manual reads tread carefully when doing so.Use: I LOVE this machine. It sits right behind me. It is very quiet. In fact, I do not hear it over the ventalation/air conditioning in my building. I have only had it a week. I will give an update if things go wrong. If you do not hear from me, then I am still extremely happy. I want one for my house now. I am only buying this brand from now on!
