Style and Function. A set of Turn Signal Lights with DRL is a great way to upgrade the appearance and visibility of your Wrangler TJ. These Signal Lights feature a great looking integrated accent halo that functions as a Day Time Running Light (DRL). These Signal Lights will certainly be much brighter than your stock incandescent Signal lights as they feature high output LED lighting.Durable Construction. The turn signal lights are built from quality PC plastic that is durable to withstand whatever the off-road terrain can throw at them.Installation. The bulbs and lenses in this kit are designed to install directly in the factory wiring harness. There are no modifications required and you can get the whole operation done in no time with just some basic hand tools.Plug and Play Installation. u-Box designed their DRL Turn Signals to be a direct plug and play replacement for your TJ's original signal lights. It should be noted that the accent halo portion of the signal lights will require splicing into your Jeeps running lights for operation.

Wire diagram wrong! red and white wire reversed.
So here is the true story on how to install: black to black, reverse the red and white wires from what the insturctions tell you. The resistor thing.... throw it in the trash!!! NOT NEEDED!!! What you do need and MUST have is an led turn signal solenoid from any of the auto stores, yes buy it there, it is like $10 bucks. Mine was under the steering wheel (2000 TJ). Take it out, go to the store and they will match it for you, it's a stockable product. Enjoy, markers look great. then go buy the side black-out led side markers. Those are an easy plug-n-play, not like these where you have to splice into the wire...

Product good, instructions not so much...
I installed on a 2004 Jeep TJ. The lights came promptly and function as advertised. They are not "plug and play" as there is no wiring harness attached to the light that would plug into the harness attached to the vehicle. You therefore have to insert the wires into the slots that were previously occupied by the blades protruding from the plug attached to the stock turn signal. I attached the wires to .110 male disconnects that I bought on Amazon, as the three stores I visited only had the female disconnect for reasons unknown. I initially tried to shove the wires as delicately as possible into the slots but that did not work very well and was quite frustrating.Enclosed in the box was an instruction sheet that had many color pictures, but was otherwise worthless. I take that back. I used wire glue to help keep the wires in the disconnects and it made a nice protector for my workbench. The wiring involves a resistor that was included with the lights. The instructions were completely wrong and when I followed them, they would only flash white, not amber. Fortunately, someone posted a video to the product page here on Amazon. YOU MUST WATCH THE VIDEO FOR PROPER INSTALLATION. It is a minute long and essential. I only gave four starts because the installation instructions were useless and just plain wrong.TL;DR: Product is good, but you must watch the video posted on the Amazon product page to wire properly as the included instructions are wrong.

WRONG RESISTORS
I know my jeep has issues but nothing was wrong until I changed my blinkers to these. I have a 1998 wrangler btw. First, I did exactly as told in the instructions with the 25resistors. I have no problem with electrical work. Then, I turned on the jeep and both blinkers blinked fast as if something was broken even though they were fine. So, I changed one to a parallel circuit instead of a series circuit and it still didn’t work. So, I bought what everyone else but this guy seems to be using, 50 resistors, and one blinker worked for about a minute. This last part may be due to my car, and I am getting blinker piece to put in so that the car recognizes the current of electricity going through the car as enough so that the blinkers don’t think they are broken. LEDs take less current than old bulbs. So I guess what I’m saying is, depending on your car this may not be compatible at all, even if it claims to be. You will most likely need to buy different resistors, and you may need to do more like I do.

These are cheap crap. NOT DRL, cheap rusty hardware
what a disappointment. First, they are not DRL. They do not have any component that functions in the way a DRL does, they do not light up with the vehicle on. What they do is when the driving/parking lights are on, instead of glowing amber as intended, they have very small white strips on either side that light up. This is neither helpful nor legal. The icing on the cake is the screws provided rusted literally overnight following install, leaving nice rust streaks down each lamp. Truly crap.
