What I liked about this workbook is it isn't time consuming. Everyone's busy with their daily grind but this workbook allows you to take a pause, reassess yourself and your goals for self-improvement."Goals should be realistic, observable, and measurable." (p. 17)This workbook is for anyone 18 and over. The concepts aren't hard to grasp. The implementation is up to the reader's will and motivation.

Bring clarity to our life
This book was written by my professor and honestly it has been an impactful book for my life. It gives clarity and validation for what many peoples personal struggles. It teaches us what it means to sit and reflect on our actions wether good or bad. Taking a step back and learning to be true to ourselves in answering how we can be better in certain areas in our life. The words on the pages are filled with life and compassion in netting the reader where they are. I enjoyed reading this book for my class. It became part of my night time routine to help me quiet my mind and set goals to be better the next day.

This Workbook helped me change my life!
Ms. Mooney breaks down Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes in an easily digestible way and provides many resources to make it easier to commit to this growth process. I have been able to implement many changes to my routine without feeling overwhelmed. She explains the process clearly and with solutions and suggestions for change. By following the process, I've made many positive changes and I plan on continuing and reevaluating my TLC's regularly because it's had a profoundly positive impact on my Recovery.

Great help to balance areas of my life!
I highly recommend this book for anyone that is trying to better themselves. I am in the Human Services field and I have set goals for myself in my personal life to balance out the important aspects of my life. I will continue to go back to this book to refer to what goals I have accomplished and what goals I still need to set for my future. Belinda Mooney really put her heart in this book to help others!

Professor Mooney’s book teaches not only the important skill of setting TLC goals but also guides us through the process of refining and specifying our goals to strengthen our intention to keep them. By adding the step of identifying the inner strengths we already possess, she gives us the gift of confidence and hope that we can empower ourselves to live our best lives possible.

Find Balance
This workbook helped me see what I needed to change in my daily life routine. I noticed that I was just trying to survive instead of actually living my life. It helped me find the balance in the midst of all my chaos. If you really work the TLC’s and dedicate your time to meet your goals you will start to see the change it can do.
