YakAttack's offerings seem to fit my needs exceptionally well and this rod holder is no exception. I geek-out when a manufacturer puts durability at the top of its equipment's features; this thing is tank (without being heavy) and will seemingly last a lot longer than I will. Plus, I'm pretty sure the rod holder could double as a home defense weapon, so that's cool.The design allows you to quickly dismount the rod holder without having to remove the track-mounted portion; a great feature for transporting and storing your kayak The easy swivel and pivot setup is impressive, too. The size of the actual part that surrounds the rod seems unusually big but it's not a really a negative feature. I thought the price was reasonable, too.YakAttack backs-up this product with a lifetime warranty (I doubt I will even need it) and its made in the USA.Keep up the good work YakAttack!

I wanted a rod holder for my Native Slayer kayak that was capable of holding any rod I wanted to use in the kayak. This holder easily accomplishes the job. I've used it to hold a fly rod, a bait caster, and a spinning rod. It has held all of them safely and securely, and it is easily adjustable and easily removed when I store the kayak. If it could hold a beer for me I'd marry it! If you like to fish using a variety of gear in your kayak you owe it to yourself to get one of these holders!

The YakAttack Omega Rod Holder works great! I did not know if I wanted to spend the money on it, but I'm happy that I did. It is built extremely well and is easy to use. I've used a wide array of rod holders on boats and kayaks and this is by far the most heavy duty and best one that I have used to date.
