I studied all the products of this type through features, reviews, etc before placing order for this one. On every one there would always be somebody claiming problems, but after a week of back and forth decided to take a chance and hope the overriding positive reviews were correct! It seemed from the negative reviews on all the brands that the weak point might be in the sliding back and forth of the extension, but in my case I was planning on leaving it at full size on the sink, which is why I ordered black to go with other elements in kitchen. ----the slider part on this one seems to be pretty durable....and if somewhere down the line it came apart, would probably find some way to wire it back together! It surprised me at being actually wider and deeper than I pictured even with measurements, and that's a definite 5 star point. Yes, it drains well....and is so handy for putting utensils in to rinse, not to mention rinsing fruits & vegetables! Have had it for about a week now, and would definitely recommend. The scrubber is great, and the drain cover works better than any I've used in past! While some reviewers complained the scrubber and drain cover not included in their pkg, pretty sure a report to the sender thru Amazon would have resulted in their replacement. I have found Amazon to be pretty reliable on such things.....so yes, I give this handy li'l addition to my kitchen a definite five star!

Really like this but def some faults.What I do like: it’s easy to store, it comes with a cleaning device which is actually SO helpful, more than I ever thought I needed for a colander lol. I also like that it’s extendable however, doesn’t stretch to meet my sink horizontally.What I don’t like: as mentioned above, does pull out wide enough in my opinion, so it’s hard to get it to stay put on my sink. When I pour my pasta in or if I bump it, it sometimes collapses and falls into the sink. So really that’s the biggest thing- it’s just not that sturdy or expandable. If you have a smaller sink it’ll work great. Otherwise, you have to use it in your sink vertically, like faucet end to counter by front of your body. I think if they added some type of “grip” on the ends it’d work much better, but for the cost, I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular haha! Still good and love that it comes with other pieces!

This colander is wonderful. I keep it on my sink and use it for cleaning vegetables and fruits as well as draining pasta. It's expandable to you can easily adjust it to fit your sink. I've also put it through the dishwasher a few times and it comes out great. No complaints here.

This is not so large it keeps you from using the sink. It will stretch over even a large sink. Nice item.

I do love this item. I use it often. However, it did not arrive very well packaged. I’m almost wondering if it was used prior to my receiving it. As there was a slight discoloration in the black. Makes me wonder…

would be nice if it locked a little more in place
