Jughead Vol. 1

I gave this five stars because it gave me everything I want from Jughead and nothing I didn't. It had plenty of the whimsy, laughs, and heart from the original comics but done in a way that's way more relevant to the new millennium.I would say the thing I liked the least was Henderson's drawing style, but that's just a personal preference. I think her style works really well for the humor being portrayed and gets the story across well, which is why it really didn't bother me that much.Would, and HAVE recommended:)

Great comic. I read some of the older Jughead comics and always enjoyed them. This new run is updated for 2017 without it being forced. The integration of queer characters is well done and wonderful. The spirit of Jughead's imagination and adventures is alive and well in these comics with their fun plotlines and lovely artwork.

Chip Zdarsky is one of my favorite writers in the world of comic books. His take on the classic Jughead Jones (and the other Cool Teens of Riverdale) is right on the money. Add extraordinarily fantastic artwork from Erica Henderson, and you've got a collection of comic book tales that is not to be missed.

Decent reboot of a classic charcter, but the stories and artwork were not as strong as some of the other more recent reboots of the other canon Archie characters. I did enjoy seeing The Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. and Captain Pureheart spoofs, even if they were only daydreams in Jughead's imagination.

Of all the Archie characters, Jughead is the one whom I and my fourteen year old son enjoy the most. He's been the most level headed, logical, and insightful of the bunch (excepting matters concerning food, but we all have a weakness.) This graphic novel takes away quite a bit of the clear view that Jughead personified and quite frankly was hard to follow at times with its dream and fantasy sequences.

Chip Zdarsky has done it again! He's brought these characters to life and made them HILARIOUS! Can't wait to read more!

Absolutely wonderful. Smart and funny with lots of heart and personality. The art is equally as impressive. Buy it!

This comic went beyond my expectations. I used to read the old Archie and Jughead comics as a child and was greatly disappointing in "Riverdale" on the CW and Netflix. This is a better re-imagining than that piece of garbage, Those who love the old school Archie but looking for something new but with the soul of the old. This is it.

Los dibujos de Erica son raros pero le da un toque divertido al libro.El papel y la impresión son de buena calidad, se sienten mucho mejor que los que venden aquí en México (que parecen que están impresos en servilletas).

What an awesome comic, 5/5 recommend!!

Jughead is hilarious! He solves crimes, creates whole worlds in his imagination, and sidesteps romance at every turn. I also laughed out loud at the editor's notes. 10/10 would recommend!
