These lights have been a great addition to our pool fence. I originally purchased two strands from Kohl's and they were $49.99 a piece!!! Why oh why did I not check Amazon first??? The illumination is pretty good for just being solar lights. My only complaint would be that I wish the little lanterns were more durable. Out of eight strands, I have only had a couple come off, hence the reason for four stars.

Ok, so I looked everywhere late summer in the big box stores and there was no inventory. So I went online and found these after looking at all kinds of options. I ordered them, box came in I opened them and had to laugh...... they were a lot smaller than I thought they would be. Oh well! So I strung them up on my new deck. Charged them in the sun like the instructions said to. 3 strings worked, the 4th didn't. Oh well. I restrung a different pattern and poof let their be light. the LED are bright. Pretty nice. The color of the frames is only good during the day, they don't light up or give off a glow or anything. so basically really small in day, bright lights at night. got used to it and liked itlast night I came home at 9:30 at night and looked out on my deck and all 3 strings were dead? Today at work I get this email. Today you are a 3 should be a 2 but I am nice.... but if I get home and jiggle the wires, reset the button then this will be a 1. Oh well.

These lights are just about perfect for what we use them. They're 'cute' (just the right size, shape), colorful and stylish. The controls are basic, and function well (gotta like that!). The lights at night are what we bought them for; but as a bonus, during the day when the lights are off, the little balls twinkle in the sun. So, day and night - we luv 'em.

Lights are a little smaller than I thought but they give off a good amount of light. The reason why I didn't rate them higher is because right out of the box 1 of the lights doesn't work and it seems that they cant be replaced.

These have a nice warm color to them, not that cool blue white. I have had these on my pergola for two full years now and they are still going strong.

The plastic inside the wire not real sturdy. White covers broke off on base during transit. I returned bothe sets.

We installed three sets of these lights on our 14' x 14' Pergola and they provide enough light to entertain by at night.With the longer days of late Spring, these light usually last until morning. Imagine they will only last half as long during the Winter when daylight is shorter, but we usually are not outside all night anyway. Very satisfied with the lights so far.We used clear plastic hooks that use double sided tape to string the lights up so we would not damage our Pergola.

These are adorable and put out quite a bit of light for as small as they are. We placed them on our purgula and they light up the back deck just enough. Love them!
