Crochet Red: Crocheting for Women's Heart Health (Stitch Red)

I was surprised how much I like this crochet book. It has a lot of well known designers and a few names that were new to me. It is almost all women's clothing, accessory, and outerwear but there are a couple of patterns for the home. Just a few are for the advanced crocheter. I love Rohn Strong's Vintage Tunisian Shell that calls for a stitch I am not familiar with but the shell has such simple elegance I'll likely try it first.In reference to another review this book does include the heart sachet pattern.

I really like most of the patterns. Not for a beginner but for a veteran crocheter these are pretty easy. I love the diagrams showing the layout of the finished pieces. Many of these are high fashion and I love that! There are thousands of crochet projects out there that I wouldn't wear on a bet but I liked a lot of these and will have a lot of fun crocheting them. :)

The designers who have contributed to this book are all well known an respected; the patterns they contributed illustrate that. from simple cowls to unusual sweater construction, or fancy jacket- a great number of different techniques, stitch patterns, and yarn selections- there is bound to be project that will inspire you

Don't let the theme of this deter you from thinking it dorsnt have some great projects, because there are several here. This is one of those from which I will make several items, the selling point of the book should have been the great projects, not the fact that they were all made out of red yarn.

The book is nice, but I did not find a pattern that I wanted to try now. The cover red heart is a good one I think I will try.

Crochet Red met and exceeded my expectations. The projects are beautiful and there are a variety of levels of experience to choose from. No matter what your level of experience is there will be more than enough projects to complete or to add to your craft learning experience.

great crochet patterns and love to support these kinds of causes. Soft cover makes it user-friendly. Something for every skill level

Interesting, understandable patterns and there are a few that can accommodate women's sizes. Photos give solid sense of what the pattern is.

What a lovely book. I bought it for one pattern seen on the internet but was very pleasantly surprised to find several others that I would like to make.

If you love anything to do with crochet, this is another book to add to your library collections.I am always on the look out for something a little different, so this fitted the bill.
