Gets a conditional five stars
They say "you get for you pay for" and that almost describes Nokia's 1.4. Yes, it's pretty basic in specs, but it's even more basic in price. The huge battery's laudable and I've gotten nearly four days from mine in general use (I am not a gamer on phones and I don't stream video on anything smaller than 65 inches) but as a phone it's pretty good when you bear in mind how little it cost. It's a bit of a beast, so when it's in my shirt pocket I walk at an angle and my wife thinks it's beginning to stretch the seam at the bottom of the pocket but for some people that's not major issue. Build quality is good and it does not feel excessively plasticky. The cameras are good but not great but again at this price they are hard to complain about and video playback quality is damned good. The 1.4 runs on Android 10 Go which helps the performance of the phone, especially with the Google 'Go' apps included. On the down side, there's no NFC so forget about using Google Pay with it and charging - through a USB micro connector - is glacially slow. Most people who've been using better/faster/more expensive phones may look down at the 1.4 rather in the way a longtime BMW owner might look upon a 1989 Isuzu I-Mark in askance. This is to be expected I suppose but as an entry-level phone it's pretty hard to beat. For what it's worth, mine is used as an second phone and I have my company's SIM card in it (yes, they know) so it forwards all work calls to my main handset, an LG G7 that's gonna be replaced later this year. Not with a 1.4, but Nokia's fascinating entry phone has pointed me to look at the 5G members of their product lineup for the G7's replacement. Perhaps Nokia's pricier models will do as well as the 1.4 in the realm of "getting what you pay for".

Excelente calidad en función a su precio
Considerando el precio es un buen celular. Buen funcionamiento y rápido. La batería tiene buena duración es su característica principal. La cámara de fotos no es muy buena.

Don't buy this phone.
This phone sucks. The battery empties quickly, once it's below 50% the rest is gone in minutes rather than hours. After 8 months the speaker gave up - no sound when a call comes in, not possible to put the phone on speaker. But worst of all: Nokia doesn't honour its own one year guarantee. Gave me the runaround, in the end I had to look up the phone with its IMEI number to find Nokia gave no guarantee - anymore? After nine months? Not clear. I gave up and asked Amazon for a refund. Which they gave for the most part. Kudos for them. But Nokia: they used to be a leader in phones, not anymore, poor product, no service. Spend a bit more and get a Samsung - I did. With a two year guarantee - which I expect them to honour, fortunately haven't needed it. Anyway, they can't do worse than Nokia.

Great battery life
Google help button and volume down button can mistakenly be pressed when power button is hit if not careful, Good volume and reception, ring tones aren't that great dowload your own. Android voicemail volume needs to be increased but that is not a fault of the phone. For the money this a a wonderful smart phone especially if you like large screens; didn't have much luck with face recog. but I prefer pin # and FR is not that secure as stated in the manual. We did not try finger print reader so no comment on that feature. With 32 GB internal memory addition of an external SD card is probably recommended.

Product says US Version, but comes with European charger adapter only.
I had ordered the US version of the Nokia 1.4 and when I received it, I swapped out my SIM card and storage. When I went to charge the phone, I only had the European charger and all instructions are NOT in English. This was the phone I wanted, but I live in North America, more specifically Canada. What can you do to rectify this issue?
