High quality steel, yet light.

This is a great in between trowel. When 1/4 is too big but a v-notch trowel doesn't seem like enough. You want this trowel....only you want it made in America, like the picture shows. Do I like this trowel? Yes. Do I think the picture showing it made in the USA is underhanded? Yes. Minus two stars (at a minimum).

Have used Marshaltown for years now and always a good product.

The picture needs to be updated. I received a "QLT by Marshalltown" trowel which is an overpriced Chinese version. If not for the fact that I need to go to work on this project tomorrow, I would return it and order either the Schluter Ditra trowel (Made in Spain) or the M-D Products 20058 (Made in China, but only $6.11 shipped) https://www.amazon.com/M-D-Building-Products-20058-16-Inch/dp/B002FYAONW.*update*I found a local tile shop that had the Schluter trowel. The handle on the Schluter is more ergonomic and slightly longer. The blade of the Schluter is lacquered, and it is also slightly wider and shorter than this one. I would have been happy to keep the Marshalltown QLT if it were made in the USA.
