Such an interesting read for any teacher. It's summarised the research into accessible chapters and focuses clearly on what literacy means in different subjects. The focus on what students need to know and how they communicate their knowledge is key to improving teaching and learning in the classroom and this book could form part of CPD and a whole school approach.
