I ordered this powder believing that it was as light as the picture (I am very fair skinned), and received a dark tan color instead. After opening it, I thought that I could possibly repurpose it as a bronzer or contour, but this powder is GLITTER CITY. It's seriously as if someone sent me a brown container of shimmer pigments.I'm very disappointed.

I don't know....this product was just meh, ok. It didn't help that the color tawny was too dark for me other than that consistency was way easy to spill the product over your counter. It was not user friendly, I bought it off of suggestion on YouTube but I think I was looking for a setting powder and not loose setting powder. I don't know if I got a old makeup didn't seem like this powder was just sitting there on amazon for a while not fresh out the drugstore. I was expecting more from Covergirl but two thumbs down not buying again! It did nothing for me would not recommend....

I have used this product for over 10 years, and unless they stop making it, it will probably be another 10. I'm medium brown skin, and I don't wear any foundation... I moisturize like crazy then apply the translucent powder. I love it, its so thin, and feels so natural against my skin. Once I have applied the powder all over my face, I use a blush brush and use the powder on my checks in a circular motion which makes it a little darker.. I spend my year living in Canada and in the US, and always find it very difficult to find, especially in Canada. In the US, I have to hunt for it, but eventually do stumble upon it. It has never broken out my skin at all, but I remember when I began to use it, it smelled like Noxema,, Remember?, Doesn't smell like that anymore. Anywho Love it, gotta have.. Couldn't even find it on the Canadian Amazon site... So ordering from the US, and even though its only 2.99, its costing me 14.99 with shipping and taxes, but its worth it to me..

The only thing that i wish was mentioned was that the powder is GLITTERY so when i set my face i have bits of glitter on my face, to be fair it’s not dramatic and isn’t to crazy but could be inconvenient to others, the powder is sheer and doesn’t leave a weird cast which i love, so other than the slight glitter in the powder the powder is great;))
