My air fryer tray was so scratched and everything was sticking. These mats make it like new again

I love this product! I have always found it difficult to clean the grill pan in the air fryer- and having teens who use it but aren’t the best cleaners didn’t help! When I ordered another grill pan to replace the original, I saw these and decided to give them a try! They work so well at protecting the grill pan. And since they are silicone, they are so easy to clean!

These are pretty thin but works. I place these on top of the wire rack that goes into the Ninja Foodi inner pot to keep protein foods from sticking to the rack. Now no need to spray down the rack and scrub the rack. There are plenty of holes to allow for air flow during air frying, but really not large enough like the rack so the underside not as crisp as the top. May have to flip the food more often.

I’m not really sure what the purpose of these are - so many great reviews, but was not impressed.I bought these because my 1500 watt ninja air fryer is almost 2 years old and the nonstick is wearing off of the “grill” plate (not sure what it’s called). I use this air fryer 4+ times per week. These were cheaper than replacing the “grill” plate so thought I’d try them - plus had great reviews.Tried air frying with these silicone mats placed on the “grill plate”: salmon, roasted potatoes, heating up a frozen chicken dish.Cons:- food just does not cook as well with the silicone versus the grill plate- oils / seasonings from the salmon and EVOO still leaked between the silicone and grill plate - so still had to clean both - on both sides - which was just twice the work - so what’s the point?- silicone mats didn’t clean as well as other silicone baking “dishes” I have- silicone mats also felt different than other silicone baking dishes that I have that are food grade - so I’m wondering if these are actually FDA food grade (without all the nasty leaching chemicals). Wondering if the company has proof of this?Pros:- less expensive than replacing the “grill plate” (but doesn’t work as well so won’t use them)- Silicone so a bit easier to clean than the “grill plate”Am returning these and buying a new grill plate.Love the ninja air fryer:)

I used it to air fry pork chops. They were delicious. They didn’t stick so clean up was fast and easy.
