Solid design and fast 6-hour assembly.
Boxes arrived in great condition with steel bands holding them to a wood pallet. Special delivery due to weight. Got it unboxed and started assembling. Was a little uneasy at first because the frame felt flimsy. Instead of erecting all 4 corner posts and then adding braces, we added braces as we went. Everything fit very nicely. All metal parts are nicely numbered. Panels are not numbered, but easy to figure out. There were quite a few leftover bolts/screws that were intended for an optional extension kit. Once finished, there is lots of bracing to make it a solid structure. Overall assembly took just over 6 hours with 2 people. Assembly tip: use a socket on a clutched drill to tighten nuts. Only 2 problems with entire kit: 1) rubber strips for door don't want to stay in place and keep slipping out. Will figure that out later. 2) the instructions call for 5/16" holes for concrete anchors, but plastic anchors are 3/8". Would recommend using real concrete anchors in windy areas.Really like the thick panels, full-height walls, and very tall roof! Not a a completely waterproof design, but it wouldn't take much to seal it up tight with clear silicone caulk from the inside.

Looks great and is very sturdy
I bought this brand because they are the only ones that have anchors. With the wind and the snow I can get here in Washington state, it's necessary. It took a while just to make sure I had all the parts and put them in numerical order. There are only pictures on how to assemble this. Which were easy to follow. I'm a 60 year old female and I did this on my own until the end of the 2nd day. My daughter came over and helped me with the door. I needed the extra hands for that. I didn't understand why I had to put the auto opener in the fridge before doing the install. It really is automatic! When it's cold the roof window will close. As the greenhouse heats up inside, it will open. Wear gloves while putting that hinge together (the metal will cut your hands). The louver window has to be oiled, like a lot, to get it to work. I love having this space for doing my starters and transplanting.

Good quality greenhouse, but not a one day project!
This review is for the Palram - Canopia Glory Greenhouse - 8 'x 8' with shelf kit and vent opener.PROS1) Quality components and construction. Stainless steel fasteners and name brand door hardware.2) Comes with automatic roof vent - a must for most climates.3) No missing parts.4) Delivery (SEVA) was right on schedule.5) All holes and parts aligned perfectly.CONS1) Louvered window slats tend to come loose. I silicone glued in place.2) Shelf brackets have sharp edges. I slipped aquarium air tubing over brackets.3) Instructions are pictorial only - so at times it takes some studying to figure out what to do. If you take your time, however, you can't go wrong.4) I've concluded you also need the louvered window automatic opener, another $100, for best temperature control.ASSEMBLY NOTES1) Greenhouse can and should be secured with tie-down cables as soon as the walls are up.2) Washing machine drain hose kit makes a good downspout (see pic).3) Cooking oil removes glue that remains from "this side out" stickers. Don't use solvent.4) Although I had no missing parts and didn't inventory before assembly, if you have the time and space, consider inventorying the parts. On at least three occasions I thought I was missing a part, only to find it after several minutes of hunting.5) I spent 3 days assembling the greenhouse, including occasional help from the wife. This did not include site preparation (see pics).6) Don't try to assemble on a windy day - the polycarbonate panels will end up in the next county. See note 1 above.7) Be sure to tighten fully the 8 Phillips head screws on the door hinges, otherwise the door tends to drift down.

Lots of pieces
I am 68 and was able to put this up by myself. First I needed to make a platform. That took almost as long as the greenhouse. I needed to haul in 3.5 yards sand to level the sloping yard. I used treated 4x4s as the base. These were attached to footers made with 3.5' long 4" diameter PVP posts that I filled with concrete (two on each side). Instructions are just pictures and took awhile to find the right pieces and get them oriented correctly. I only worked in the late afternoon after the wind died down so it took several days. The only hard part for one person was putting up the top center piece, but somehow I got it in within it falling down on one end.

The instructions are terrible. The greenhouse looks like it is top quality
I built this greenhouse on a cement pad and anchored it to the pad. The instructions are terrible. The greenhouse looks like it is top quality. I live in the pacific northwest. It rains here a lot. This greenhouse leaks like a sieve. The roof leaks and I currently have my new greenhouse tarped to stop the roof leaks. It is still flooding. This is because the steel base foundation has factory drilled quarter inch holes in it. There are numerous holes in the steel based foundation. These are used in an entirely different model than the Glory. The Glory greenhouse model does not use the holes. Therefore, they remain open which allows the rain to pour thru them. I am not talking about a little water. This allows a lot of water into the greenhouse. These holes are located on a ridge just at the bottom of the polycarbonate panels. The water runs down the panels to the ridge which contains these holes, allowing much water to enter this greenhouse. I have been working with the manufacturer on this issue. They keep sending me parts that are smaller than the hole. Meanwhile, I keep moping. I am currently in process of filing a consumer protection complaint. I would never have purchased this product if I had known that I would be spending the fall and winter with a mop. I also have tried different products to stop this flooding. I have included pictures of early on leaking. It is much worse now since we entered winter.
