This filter does what I want - removes the chlorine and chloramines from the tap water. It was easy to install - it took me about 10 minutes, and gives good filtered water for coffee and cooking. My tap water is low in total dissolved solids and hardness, so getting rid of the chemical smell and taste is important. The nice thing is that it doesn’t affect my water pressure at the tap. Recommended.

Easy to install......and simple cartridge changes.

I can't drink any Florida water or eat anything that has been washed in or exposed to Florida water! I researched under-sink filters when I needed to replace the one I had for several years. I reasoned tat there must be a bacteria here that I cannot tolerate. I found this one and it clearly stated that it cleared bacteria. There are 4 models in this line, this one is the only one that said it cleared bacteria. It works perfectly!!! And was less than $100 delivered to door Amazon!!!

Ease of installation and number of 5/5 reviews. The water tastes better than bottled water and we live in S C which is known for poor water quality. The filer on my Samsung Refrigerator broke, and repair wanted $500 to replace a $64 part. I said no thanks. The Apec CS-2500P was a great investment.. Thanks Apec.

This took about 45 minutes to an hour to install. There are somethings you can look at and get a general idea of how to install them - this really isn’t one of them, but the instructions were good enough to fill in the gaps. You will do yourself a big favor if you scope out the entire installation job before beginning - it will likely save you a little time. If you have 3/8” fittings on your feed and faucet fixture, you likely won’t need the 2nd hose that is included - simply connect the hose you disconnected from the feed (hose the carries water to the faucet) to the output of the filter housing. The should have been made clearer in the instructions. Attaching the filter housing to the mounting bracket (four screws in the top of the unit) is - from my experience, strongly recommended, particularly if you are planning to mount the filter in a cabinet under your kitchen sink like I did.There has been no discernible reduction in water pressure. The APEC brand RO water filtration system comes highly recommended, so I went with their under sink filter. It has only been 2 days, but so far so good. Installation was relatively easy, but could have been a little easier with better instructions - or perhaps a YouTube unboxing video. Minor complaints in the grand scheme of things.
