It’s a good light novel

Shido Itsuka's life already was a mess. Now his younger biological sister Mana Takamiya and a new spirit Kurumi Tokisaki arrive. His dating and family life becomes a lot more complicated, especially since Kurumi is unlike any other spirits Shido has met before. Volume 3 is mostly familiar, a bit of cringe with some of the tropes taken too far, and entertaining comedy (those same dating game tropes). Things take a bit more serious tone near the end. Besides the occasional cringe, I do wish there was a name list at the start and I could do without the cliff-hanger ending. Eagerly looking forward to the next volume.

Wow where to start, and and what to say? I can say that the stakes are much higher in this volume than the previous two, and that it ends on a pretty unexpected twist and cliffhanger. The writing was really well done in vol 3, at times I didn’t even know who to root for anymore, and that’s thanks to the good writing. This had less of a slice of life vibe and more of suspenseful vibe, although there’s still plenty of slice of life taking place in this volume, this one was just a lot more thrilling. It’s a short light novel (186 pages) but I finished this in one sitting which is something I don’t do much, so it was more of page turner than I anticipated. I’m sure some of you have already seen the anime and you won’t much care for my recommendation, but if you have the patience or backlog of LN’s to do it, I’d suggest waiting to read this volume once you have volume 4. This volume ends on a huge suspenseful cliffhanger, and I think it would be best to look at volumes 3-4 as part 1 and 2 of the same arc. If you’ve already caught up on the first two, this is the best volume yet by a wide margin. You won’t be disappointed if you’ve enjoyed the series up until now. Enjoy

I love this series and was Furious and extremely disappointed when I came home from a very long day at work to find after open the package that was poorly set(like no bubble wraps or paper wrap around it) and saw it in this condition I even got other book from the same series in the same condition i am getting a replacement which i shouldnt have to and hope that they put more care Into my order that work my hard earn money for

Mi parte favorita de Date A Live es la aparición de Tokisaki Kurumi y su cita con Shido, lo cual abarca esta novela, así que era una compra asegurada. Por supuesto, la calidad de la edición es muy buena, con las ilustraciones en excelente resolución.Claro, solo está en inglés, pero muy recomendado para los fans de la saga.
