Hanger Hack
Saw this hanger hack on Facebook and decided to try it. Wrapping pipe cleaners around a plastic hanger so clothes do not slip off. It works great with these colorful and sturdy pipe cleaners! Love the colors and length, and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are a tad thinner than I thought they would be, and a lot of them have the sharp wire sticking out, which necessitated trimming them so they wouldn't snag my clothes.

Too flimsy for Covid masks.
I'm using them three thick inside the Covid masks going to our local Coast Guard units and they're still not stiff enough! Absolutely no comparison to the much studier pipe cleaners I bought years ago. Everything is junk nowadays, sadly.

Dangerous
These are very poor quality. The 'fuzz' is sparse. The wire ends are very sharp and pose a hazard, especially if young children are using them for a craft project. I have not counted the number of pipe cleaners in the package but can see some bare wires in the package so I'm not sure there are the full number of stems.

You can make so many unique crafts with pipe cleaners and kids can create them.
I ordered these pipe cleaners for some craft projects for my 8 and 5 yr old grandchildren. With no school and being at home they needed something fun to do. You would be surprised at the ideas that kids use pipe cleaners for......but, the next day when they came to visit they had made multicolored bracelets for all the girls in the family. It was so much fun and the colors were really bright and pretty. I keep two of them in my car so when we drive to wave to them in the driveway they see us with our bracelets. Sorry bout no pics I do not know how to post them. They arrived promptly and I would order from this Seller again! Thanks!

Keeping aircraft safe
We use the pipe cleaners in the vent lines of the fuel tanks on our airplane when on the ground not being used . Mud Gober wasps in south Florida prefer to make nests in small dry follow spaces like the air intake lines to the fuel tanks in the wings of airplanes . When the wasps move in they lay eggs & seal the vent line with mud cutting off the air flow to the tank as the fuel is burned when the engine running No air to the tank means no fuel to the engine resulting in engine failure and a crash . The pipe cleaner is folded over doubling the thickness and partially inserted into the vent tube with half folded over the tube exterior & is remover prior to flight , engine startup .
