Another nail in the coffin of dishonesty
There are two camps of writer when it comes to this type of book: the writer whose sense of justice has been offended and feels compelled to let others know their viewpoints as to why. They look, they see wrong, they question and want to know more. They publish their stories, their interviews; they bring up unanswered questions and propose answers they put out as opinions, etc. They kind of muck about among themselves and have disagreements but they mean well and are recognizable by their sincerity. Then there's the opposite camp. They are generally recognizable because they are louder, get better press, are more biting and hostile and generally critical of the first camp (an oddity in itself because they themselves publicly call the first camp "Critics!") You find them as commenters on Youtube and MSN as well as book authors and can be recognized by their assertions that the first camp are wrong and the named assassin is guilty (in the face of no actual trial of the alleged) and there is something wrong with YOU for raising the question in the first place. In short, they actually attack the first group! By their comments you will know them.I have read my share of books of this nature, talked with a number of principals, visited enough sites, written enough comments and collected enough questions of my own to know that official investigation of the events of 5-6 Jun 68 are not sooth. In 1974, in the wake of JFK's assassination, I concluded that there was no reason to believe any information about his brother's death by the fact that the FBI knew Dallas was seething with hate, knew Lee Oswald was working on the President's parade route, knew he was a returned defector, was an avowed communist (at a time it clearly labelled you an enemy) yet DID NOTHING ABOUT IT! And proudly reported that he was the assassin in their report released ten months later. Doesn't matter if you believe Oswald pulled the trigger or not. They KNEW of him, by their own statement, and did nothing! So any information, interviews, data, analysis that comes through the FBI and its subordinates CAN BE SAFELY and adequately ignored. You can also classify any verbal sparring from anyone as possibly connected to that organization. Also, you might have noticed that within days following the explosion in Oklahoma, the Director of the FBI resigned! Yet in 1963 the Director of the FBI not only retained his post following the assassination, the headquarters of the FBI BUILDING IN WASHINGTON IS NAMED FOR HIM! And that city does not even have the names of former presidents in lights! You will also notice that Kennedy's enemies sat on the Warren Commission (Alan Dulles, fired by Kennedy as head of the CIA for incompetence for starters who basically ran the "investigation"). This is akin to 12 wolves manning the jury while a sheep is on trial! J. Edgar Hoover was even known to autograph pictures for his SS buddies prior to WWII and even fired an agent for exposing a Nazi spy ring! His favourite PR tactic of posting Public Enemy Number One finally turned turtle on him. The real Public Enemy Number One? J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI! Can you really count on him and the FBI to tell the truth? Who do they serve? Well, that's the 64 dollar question. Certainly not justice. In the case of RFK, as this book points out, the evidence concerning the assassination was being destroyed within hours of the shooting, Kenndy not even dead yet, though mortally wounded. The intimidation tactics brought about by the FBI and the LAPD on witnesses are well documented in this book. The confluence of FBI and LAPD acclaimed "unreliable witnesses" at these two major assassination are actuarily impossible. It is as if the FBI and LAPD had to create their own picture of each killing that contradicted the collective picture the witnesses actually had and published it in their report. Thus any information about the assassination that came through either of these bodies can be safely ignored, though the fact of it cannot. These reports are assertions, not investigations. If the FBI and LAPD represent justice as they claim, then America is in deep trouble for they serve masters of delusion at best and masters of complicity at worst. They should not be supported by American citizens in any capacity nor should they be encouraged or funded. They should be politely but firmly ignored and avoided. They protect no one but themselves and can be counted on to be telling the opposite of what is. They say "red", you can safely assume "green, blue or yellow" is true. They say "up", you can assume "down". You do not need to listen to them, help them or support them in any way. If they want to polygraph you, agree as long as you can also polygraph them! Unless under arrest you do not need to be present. If you must attend, have a lawyer present. Always. They use force to obtain compliance, just agree with them and go on your way. You don't have to agree, this is not a police state. At least not yet. Just quietly withdraw you cooperation as they do not work for you by actual fact.In JFK and RFK, you see their prey. There will be no justice for them as long as bodies such as these serve vested interests and not justice. And there are other victims as well. Just not as celebrated.Continue to look at all angles of truth, draw your own conclusions, ignore the naysayers and the asserters and generate your own truth. Who says your own truth is not valid? The efforts of these bodies and their paid associates is to get you to doubt yourself for their own purposes. If we refuse to accept others' truths, justice may emerge. If enough do, as this author has done, then America and the rest of us have a chance.

Timely as Sirhan was granted parole, September 2021
This is a great piece of investigative journalism. It reinforces a belief many of my generation have held since the prospect of hypnotic suggestion was mentioned in the early 70s.June 4th, 1968 was my 16th birthday and although I was still too young to vote, Robert Kennedy held the values I cherished. As a Native American I had experienced the prejudice he spoke on.As a pacfist, I wanted us out of Vietnam.I choose to believe Bobby didn't flash a V for victory sign but a peace sign.Last week the parole board voted to release Sirhan from prison but he won't be released until Governor Newsome signs off on it. Gov. is in the middle of a possible recall election which, no doubt, is a difficult position to be in given the fact that the recall is mainly composed of vocal right-wing Trump supporters .My only problem with this book is that half, in the kindle version at least, is footnotes! But, please do read this book.

Well worth your time.....
While much of the book is a rehashing of information that's been made available at various points in time over the last 50 years, there are some things in it that I've never seen before. Some completely new revelations, and some that were just not easy to find unless you had the inclination to dig deep into the LAPD files that were released in 1988 and the court proceedings since Sirhan was convicted.Even though much of this is not new, the authors and the editor are to be congratulated for bringing it all together with brevity, yet packing in so much pertinent information. The book follows a logical sequence and should prove very interesting and enlightening to readers who have only a casual knowledge of the case or know nothing about it at all. It's a well constructed book that doesn't get bogged down in minutiae, but neither does it go into great detail. Many parts of this saga have been covered extensively in the past, and the reader is directed to more in-depth coverage of many facets of the story with the wealth of footnotes. This book is cleanly and concisely written and very ably covers a tremendous amount of territory in a remarkably thrifty amount of pages. The authors present an intriguing possibility as to the identity of the infamous "Girl in the Polka Dot Dress" that was seen by many witnesses in the company of Sirhan Sirhan throughout the afternoon and evening preceding the assassination. That they didn't (or couldn't) provide more information on that young woman and her future husband was a bit frustrating. But what they did relate about those two was quite thought provoking. That chapter alone made this book a worthwhile read for me.This book would rate 5 stars, but I knew so much of what's in it before. Still, it is quite good, and very well written and presented.

Not too bad
I've read a lot about the Kennedy's and the assassination of John and Bobby. This is one of the more detailed books on RFK'S assassination. It held my interest but took me longer to read than I thought it would.

well written and well documented
I have read mamy, many books on the assassination of JFK but this is the first on RFK. I always assumed that Sirhan killed him but not any more. This book makes convincing arguments that he did not. Unfortunately no one know who did.

Well researched
Enjoyed this book, although tedious at times. The tediousness comes from all the detail. However the details are what clearly show corruption, arrogance, and sheer incompetence of all law enforcement involved. We haven’t been told the truth about RFK’s murder.

Logically Written, Easy to Follow.
The book points out the many inconsistancies in the investigation of the assassination. It is well written and easy to follow. Sometimes it moved slowly because of the details. I enjoyed it and recommend it to people interested in history

A clear Indictment
I don’t remember the author of the last book I read about Robert Kennedy’s death but it suffered from the ‘usual problems’ with many such books; sensationalist and highly confusing in its narrative. Tim Tate gives a lucid and very clear account that utterly exposes the deep corruption of American politics back then and in the subsequent decades of cover up and denial. The Manchurian Candidate is difficult to describe convincingly, it’s so easy to dismiss the whole notion as fantasy and nonsense but this book is convincing on that difficult subject providing clear evidence of the programme and how and when Sirhan had his brain ‘washed’. It also solves the ‘mystery’ of the woman in the white dress with polka dots as somebody not far removed from the villain of the piece, the 28 stone CIA hypnotist. 9 out of 9 identifications by eye witnesses adds that essential piece of the jigsaw. No hysterics just excellent history - with the evidence; Thanks Mr T!

A Presentation of the Facts
The authors of this book have worked on the Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy for 30 years. And here they go through the events of the case piece by piece. What they use are the undeniable fact. There are no outlandish claims. Just the facts of the case presented to the reader. And what is undeniable is that there was a second gunman that evening in the pantry of The Ambassador Hotel. And that all of Senator Kennedy's wounds came from behind. Including the fatal shot. With alleged assassin Sirhan B. Sirhan at all times in front of the Senator. The outcome is inescapable that he couldn't have fired the fatal shots that hit the Senator. With that there had to be a second gunman.Who that gunman is the author's make no outlandish claims. Just facts and suspects those facts draw conclusions to. Who it is is or likely is is left up to the reader. Including which person or persons or groups were part of the likely plot.I would recommend this book for outlining all the details of the case. And it's a great starting point for anyone new or unfamiliar with the case. What is evident, as far as I'm concerned is that the case of the Assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy needs to be officially reopened and investigated.I would highly recommend this book and the work of both authors in uncovering new facts about the case and exposing the truth.

Facts speak louder than speculation
This was a convincing and readable book. The authors held back from speculative conspiracy, and by doing so allowed the facts to come into focus, allowing the reader to draw their own conclusion. My conclusion is that there was more than one gunman that night, and for that reason alone the investigation needs to be reopened.

Very Surprising Revelations
I'm not one for conspiracy theories and it's fair to say that neither are the authors of this book. However, the anomalies, altered or ignored evidence, extraordinary secrecy and illegal behaviour of the LAPD and others is very striking. If the powers that be had wanted it to look like a conspiracy they couldn't have done a better job. A very interesting read.
