The mold is not at all deep, it is flimsy and very hard to use. I have to wait till the resin is just the right temp to use a dropper with in order to get this to turn out okay.

These dragon molds worked great for making chocolates. I was a little concerned at first, because these mold are pretty small and quite soft.I put them on a baking sheet with foil underneath them. Also, the chocolate was easy to remove once it had cooled.The only negative is that they are a bit difficult to clean.

I'm happy with the ScivoKaval Silicone Dragon Mold. There are many versatile uses for this mold. The impression to mold the dragon design is shallow but the details are impressive. The silicone is very soft and with gentle care should last through several castings. These are good for a variety of materials. One important thing to note is that if the molds are used for anything other than edibles, they should not be used for any food products afterwards to prevent contamination. This is smaller than I was expecting. Still good quality and attention to detail but for some reason I was expecting bigger. The only photo and limited description I had to go on might have mislead me a bit. I'm still not sure what I would use it for except making small chocolates. I'll have to mess around with it and get creative. I love dragons so much so I'm glad to see something like this available. Overall it's good and I would recommend it since you'll have the realistic expectations that it is small.
