Worked well for a basic aftermarket radio install on a 2007 Wrangler
I Replaced the OEM radio on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X and installed an after market Kenwood double DIN BPX500BT. It worked fine. I took the Kenwood wire harness and connected all the wires in my shop. Wire colors matched up perfectly. This was not a multimedia installation and there were no additional add ons on the Jeep like power antenna, satellite radio, amp, etc. Keep that in mind because this harness is basic, just speakers and power. Also, on the power note, you will have to wire a separate ignition power wire to your after market radio if it requires one. The kit above comes with a separate red 3A fused wire with a blade. I used my cigarette lighter power wire (it gets powered with ignition on the Wrangler) and one of those blue splicing straps that you can buy separately to tap into the power without having to cut the wire. The yellow power wire built into the harness is for direct (fused) battery power.

Not for cars with factory Amps.
It's a decent quality harness if you don't have a factory amp. If you want to retain your factory amp and all data functions (if you want everything to work well) then you need to order the more expensive PAC C2R-CHY4 Wiring Interface.Today's radios have data links and other functions and the pac will make installs easier and correct.My experience is with a 2008 jeep jku with a factory amp and subwoofer in the rear. The factory radio is ok but I wanted my aftermarket with Sirius, Bluetooth, usb and other Functions the factory radio lacked. I didn't want to upgrade the entire system.

Didn’t fit 2007 Dodge Dakota
It may just be my truck, but this did not fit on my 2007 Dodge Dakota. I ended up having to get a wiring harness for a 2002-2004 Dodge Dakota.
