I really wanted to like these leggings, but I don’t love them. The print is so cute, def the best part and the material is comfy and soft. So those are the pros.Cons: there is very little compression in this pants making me feel like I had a constant pull up my waist line during workout so my crotch area didn’t have a gap. Probably my biggest pet peeve and definitely prevents me from purchasing again. The other interesting part is the bottom around the ankles doesn’t fit as tight as the rest of the legging. Also for tall girls, it’s on the shorter side in inseam length.These are advertised by a ton of ppl as being duped for lululemon aligns. These are far from that so don’t buy with that intention. They are cute lounge pants. They are not workout pants.

I was BLOWN AWAY by these leggings!! I always read reviews and never buy anything less than 4stars on amazon. I usually buy expensive, name brand, active wear- as a personal trainer and lover of activewear ( I wear it 90% of the time) quality is always a MUST. I’m SO ecstatic about finding and purchasing these leggings.The fit is A+ — They have the perfect amount of compression, holds you in without “pushing out” any extra “fluff”. The fabric feels and looks “top of the line”. They’re so comforting and stylish! You could wear them for a HIIT/sweaty workout, staying in for a cozy weekend or a night out on the town.I’m so obsessed with these I went straight to my social media apps to tell EVERYONE about these! (Pics are from my Snapchat post hehe) I cant say enough positive comments about these leggings ...PURCHASE THEM!!! You will not regret it!Sizing & style : My weight fluctuates a lot from 130-145 and I’m in between sizes S and M— usually a size small in most bottoms, depending on brand. I purchased the black leopard print in size S, and they fit great!! ***I think M would be fine too, probably just less of a compression feel but that’s solely based on experience from wearing so many different brands***

Black Leopard - Super flattering and comfy! They are Lulu Lemon / Athleta quality. I'm 5'10", 195lbs. I was a competitive dancer growing up so I'm really picky about the quality of leggings I wear. However, I'm losing weight so I didn't want to break the bank buying new size leggings every 2 months.I found this brand by buying a pair of the spandex shorts for working out from home and they were so comfy I decided to try out the leggings.I also got a pair of regular black leggings, in this style and they were tighter and shorter in the crotch than the Black Leopard so I returned them.

UPDATE: I've now made 6 purchases from The Gym People if that says how much I love these leggings. I have these leggings in black, black leopard and the brownish animal print leopard. For some reason it wont let me write a review on the latest purchase so I'm just adding an update to my original review. Sizing has been consistent with all items purchased (small). I also have the biker shorts and the jogger leggings that I love.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love these leggings! I am 5'7 and 135lb and I ordered a small. They fit perfect. This is my 3rd purchase from The Gym People and I love the way they fit. The black leopard ones that I bought could actually be dressed up with heels and a cute top. Buy these leggings!!

I've purchased maybe 10 pairs of exercise pants off Amazon now, all from different brands, and these are by FAR my favorite.The Waist: The waist comes up high enough to be a true high waist, without coming up so far that it folds. There's a thin elastic band at the top of the waist that honestly I didn't even notice the first time I wore them, and it seriously helps hold these pants up - they're the only pair I have (other than my Yogalicious leggings, purchased from TJMaxx, which also have that thin elastic waist) that I'm not constantly pulling up as I'm walking around.The Length: They're right at that perfect ankle length for me - I'm 5'7 and ordered a medium, and there's no bunching at all at the bottom of the leg.The Feel: Amazing. They're a typical "workout" material (as in, not the trendy "buttery" feel), so they slide on nicely, hug you just enough to be supportive without making you feel like a stuffed sausage, and are thick enough to hide any pesky cellulite.The Fit: I'm 5'7, ~160lbs, athletic build (hello hips and thighs) and ordered a size M. I'm usually somewhere between a 4-6 in jeans depending on the brand, and for leggings either a S/M depending on the brand, so I'm always nervous when I can't try things on in-store. Thankfully, the M is perfect for me - slightly compressive, no extra fabric bunching behind the knees or at the waist, and extremely comfortable to workout in. If you prefer your pants more compressive, I'd definitely size down.The Rest:-These pants have 2 pockets, and my iPhone X fits in them perfectly with the case on. I'm normally not a pockets-person for gym clothes, but these are wonderfully minimalistic - only two small stitching lines down each side, no extra "details" or fuss.-There is a front seam, for all you front-seam haters - but I've yet to find a pair of seamless pants that actually stays up.-The black leopard pattern is beautiful, more subtle than I anticipated (in a good way) - there's a shine to the pattern itself which makes it pop against the black base, rather than having two different colors.-These are 100% squat proof, don't show any sweat, and (so far) have not shown any signs of pilling at the crotch seams as tends to happen. I've been washing them inside out on cold and line drying them, for reference.The only thing that would make these pants more perfect would be if the back seam (the one that cuts across the top of your butt) had a slight V-shape to help enhance the booty - but don't let that stop you from buying these in every color!
