Environmental Castin' Craft Opaque Pigment 1 Oz: Black

The product is great, easy to pour and mostly fool proof. The color is great you can use a little more or a little less depending on your liking. I used four drops for every 20 mils as it comes out very thick. I was very happy with the end result.

I use this product for the construction of fin fillets on large fiberglass high power model rockets.It is very good product ,mixes very well with the epoxy,is easy to use, does not appear to effect the strength of the attachment and the price is reasonable.

I wanted to make a resin figure of bigfoot for a project, but I didn't want clear resin showing through if the paint scratched off. It took quite a bit to achieve opaque black, and I was worried it would slow the cure, but it came out jet black, very shiny, and fully cured. It reminded me of obsidian rock. If you want to shake things up and color your resin, this stuff is up to the task.

Used to color clear epoxy for small repair/fill on exotic woods. Easy to over use when mixing small batches. Overuse can can epoxy to remain uncured. Difficult to maintain approximately 1:100 ratio when mixing a few milliliters. When used correctly, produces excellent results.

I had never used pigmet in my resin, so this was new to me. I really love the quality of these colors. They mix in so easy. The only part of the learning curve was me! The first try, I used too much color. That was a nice surprise as I didn't know how much it would take. I am very pleased with the color and quality of this dye.

I don't know who is giving these castin craft pigments 5 stars.. people who have never used them? People who only cast transparent?This may work with transparent resin. My results are from the white resin.I bought black and can only get grey no matter how much I use. The more I use the more bendy the item gets.I've abandoned this products and now only use oil paint to color my resin.
