Just received it. Of the eight join points on the sides, 4 are coming apart. I doubt it would take long before I was standing with food all over the carpet, hot coffee down my front, and 2 pieces of wood in my hands once I put some weight on it. But of course it's going straight back.

Perfect for my needs but it's nothing fancy. I like to put snacks out on it, or if I'm sitting on the couch I keep my coffee (I use a coaster) or whatever on it. The staining of the wood is beautiful. It's light weight, but I wouldn't say it feels super sturdy either. Don't get me wrong, it's not flimsy and it is well made, but I don't think the most solid/durable wood was used either. Apart from the staining, it doesn't seem to have a finish, so I don't recommend getting it wet-- Try to be careful to not to spill drinks or liquid foods on it. It doesn't feel smooth all over either, there are some spots where the wood could have used more sanding.

I was very pleased with the look and construction of this tray, I keep it out all the time.

It was way to light weight. For the price I expected a heavy durable tray for the backyard and for the price . Nice color though.
