Have a crap tonne of pens?! Get this case!!
This has been one of my favorite Amazon purchases so far!! I really love this pen case. It's great if you have more than just one type of pen or pencil. I just got this pen case today and spent about an hour organizing all my pens into this wonderful case!It has a great set of zippers, and a little strap for carrying. It feels durable, and has inserts to keep it from flapping all over the place!I only had some issues with the Frixion pens because they have a gel grip on them. The gel pens fit wonderfully, and didn't mind a tighter squeeze. The highlighters were a different story. I HAD to skip a slot every 5 to make them fit. I don't mind though, I still have a lot of slots left to fill with more pens! MuahahahahaThis case will hold 124 pencils or thin pens (Stabilo, Le Pen, or Staedtler). Along with a small ruler, an eraser, and a small pencil sharpener. It is currently holding 65 gel pens, 14 highlighters, 5 Sharpie markers, 3 Frixion pens, 5 Le Pens, 2 Stabilos, a multi-ball pen, a bone folder, and a smash pen with a glue stick bottom.10/10 Would buy again. And would also recommended!

High quality - I love it!
For the price I was expecting cheapie, but was so very pleasantly surprised. It hds my 72 Prisma Colora, plus my erasers, spares, blending stumps, et al.. well padded quality zippers, and plenty of room. It takes up very little roo. On my lap compared to my roll up one. So its very easy to use in limited space situations. The teal (green?) Is a gorgeous color. I already got ink on it and it wiped right off. I have 9 pics from various angles if I can fi d a way to post them.

A perfect case!
This case is awesome!!!! I have both the green ( teal in my opinion) and the pink. One holds my 72 prized prismacolor artist pencils and the 25 extra fun metallic pencils and the other hold 120 fineliner markers BEAUTIFULLY!!! I love them! The zippers and seems are well sewn and the case is just the right size. Big enough to hold volume of pencils yet compact enough to go into a backpack. I have had Zero issues with the elastic bands ... even my fineliners which are a little larger than pencils. To me.. it’s a perfect case. I even live the wrist strap to help carry it around and keep my hands free for carrying my art pads. I will probably get another soon just for my gel pens:) did I say I love these?❤️❤️❤️

Nice but limiting...
This is a great case....IF you were using it ONLY for colored pencils. I use a variety of markers as well. The elastic slots were too tight for Microns to all fit nicely across. Had to skip a slot every 5-6 markers. Sharpies has to be alternated bc they wouldn’t fit next to each other well, and I had to pry the slot open with a pencil to get the marker to slide in place. And Tombows? They were almost impossible to make fit, having to do the same as Sharpies. Could only use one side with Tombows, so don’t get full use of product. See photos. Hopefully the elastic will stretch some over time with the larger markers. When I went to use the markers, I could barely get the markers out, let alone try to put back in place. Will have to return and try to find something more conducive to my work.

My favorite new organization for my studio
I purchased one of these to hold the Prismacolor pencils that I have that are in excess of the 120 set, Prismacolor Very Thins, a 20 piece Staedtler set, and my small collection of Tombow Irojiten colored pencils, plus a few odds and ends. I love this pencil case, so much so that I ordered a second one to hold my complete set of Faber Castell Polychromos. For the Polychromos I previously used the trays that came with the set, problem was they never stayed the way I needed them to. I like to be able to read the pencil number and/or color name. Now everything is all nice and neat, I can read all the colors and numbers of all my pencils. Selecting pencils has gotten so much easier and convenient, no more emptying out pencil cups or digging in a drawer.

Caution - Very narrow slots!!
I was so excited to order this a few days ago! I waited with baited breath, rushed home from work today to open this puppy up... and within 5 minutes of putting in 75 Crayola colored pencils and 20 Crayola Twistable pencils, the stitching between sections unraveled and fell apart.I was going to return it post haste, but it was really user error that caused it to unravel. Instead I bought a Global Arts adult coloring travel case for my Ohuhu artist pencils, and filled this with my less fancy Crayola pencils to keep and share at work. You'll know right away if your pencils are too wide - and if they are, proceed with caution!

It's lovely. I waited to see how it treated my Prismas; now I have lots of things in there!
(But not watercolor pencils; I hate watercolor pencils, and they stay in the tins because they're a MESS.)I'll say I didn't TRUST this to have and carry without damaging my favorite items, so I went slow. Now my favorites (pencils, pens, gel pens, etc) are in this lovely book! There's plenty of space between the pages so the pencils aren't BANGING against each other: STURDY FIT!I think I'm going to try to sew a pocket into the left-most end page to hold erasers and sharpeners and "tools", because my tools don't fit the special elastics. I guess they would, but I think a little "pocket" would be more helpful there (especially for files, blades, and kneaded erasers), although you can stick a fat brush in those for getting rid of eraser gunk or shavings, which is handy.I love that I think I CAN sew something into this. That's pretty sturdy, because I cannot sew!Sadly, I might have to order another one. The pens and pencils slip out so much more easily than I had imagined (I mean they're held tightly, but a tilt of the book lets you easily poke out the pencil or pen you need). This imo is far superior to the roll-up styles: I can turn pages and don't hear the sickening sound of pencils slapping together. That zipper bit is what keeps everything in place without touching: excellent design! A+ (Also, feels like leather; looks like a purse. Very fond of it.)
